The emphasis for this recent Ray Morrow Design / Build project in Irvine California was to create an environment that offered a very clean sophisticated feel and yet is still infused with textures and interactive relatable spaces. Within this modest sized yard there are multiple built in amenities : Cooking and Outdoor Dining / Bar space , Communal Fire Pit and relaxation area , Thematic Fountains in two separate zones , Combination Raised Patio Area with Contemporary Style Open Beam Structure , Presenting a perfect mixed use space for entertaining , in addition to the custom hardscape elements , This yard also showcases a harmonious plant palette with generous space to mature and embrace the permanent build in venues.

The transition between the formal dining room that the kitchen is eased by the addition of a new sideboard that picks up the counter material from the kitchen island. New stairs were carefully stained to match the existing box beam woodwork. The result is a series of thematic plantings, stonework and structures that reference Japanese gardens and accommodate the needs of the homeowners. Serving as the centerpiece of the landscape are a teahouse and a series of stone walks traversing a small water feature, creating a serene, contemplative space.

Our Dark Glazed cabinets have a raised rectangular design in the middle. They feature an elegant finish that goes well with anything, from white bathroom fixtures to steel kitchen appliances to thematic office decorations. The cabinets look particularly good with cherry wooden furniture and dark walnut furnishings. You can use them to create a classical or contemporary look.

A relatively narrow entry hall (5 feet) dictates narrow furnishings. The handcrafted mahogany console is 10 inches wide. By using a thematic wall arrangement, we have added a quiet interest punctuated by the dramatic black sil shades. All in all, a warm welcome.

A striking powder room serves as a thematic connector across the main floor. Its dramatic wallpaper from Parete Walls inspires and sets a refined tone, further accentuated by a natural marble vanity, Newport Brass fixtures, and Arteriors lighting and mirrors.
