This client wanted their Terrace Level to be comprised of the warm finishes and colors found in a true Tuscan home. Basement was completely unfinished so once we space planned for all necessary areas including pre-teen media area and game room, adult media area, home bar and wine cellar guest suite and bathroom; we started selecting materials that were authentic and yet low maintenance since the entire space opens to an outdoor living area with pool. The wood like porcelain tile used to create interest on floors was complimented by custom distressed beams on the ceilings. Real stucco walls and brick floors lit by a wrought iron lantern create a true wine cellar mood. A sloped fireplace designed with brick, stone and stucco was enhanced with the rustic wood beam mantle to resemble a fireplace seen in Italy while adding a perfect and unexpected rustic charm and coziness to the bar area. Finally decorative finishes were applied to columns for a layered and worn appearance. Tumbled stone backsplash behind the bar was hand painted for another one of a kind focal point. Some other important features are the double sided iron railed staircase designed to make the space feel more unified and open and the barrel ceiling in the wine cellar. Carefully selected furniture and accessories complete the look.

A mix of rustic & chic modern elements to create a classic space that is overly transitional. From modern driftwood porcelain floors and free standing tubs to the classic antiqued finish, hand-turned rope columns and reclaimed tin panels; a space like this turns what most people consider "transitional" on it's head.

By removing the column and frame the shower looks so nice and clean and more expansive. The calm beige tones of the porcelain tile compliment the listello and lovely granite. Simple shower head and two glass shelves keep it easy to clean.

Changing the location of the vanity offered enough space for a great stand-up shower with a bench. Tiles using the miter technique allow the textures of the accent wall to flow well.
We tripled the vanity’s original size. It now includes drawers and two laundry hampers. Surprise lighting shines from beneath the vanity and from behind the hidden medicine cabinet, which pulls out of a column. The exquisite, textured accent wall allows the white vanity and high-gloss porcelain to pop.

This client desperately needed more space in their bathroom. This was a complete gut job. We removed a hall closet to give more space, relocated the shower, vanity and toilet. Installed everything from, ceramic tile floor, vertical white subway tile, glass detail tile, pennyround tile for the shower floor, glass shower panel and created a organization nook for towels and toiletry items. This was a truly unique project to work on and the clients are beyond happy.

This Huntington Beach condo required updating in order to modernize the home into a crisp, white, and contemporary feel. Wood tile floors were installed as well as a custom fireplace surround, custom kitchen seating, and updated media and lighting throughout. Columns were removed in the entry in order to remove traces of the previous Mediterranean style. All cabinetry and countertops were original, which shows that updated hardware, tile, and paint can make all the difference. Photo credit: Chad Cheverier Photography

Inspiration for a mid-sized timeless master beige tile and porcelain tile porcelain tile bathroom remodel in St Louis with recessed-panel cabinets, dark wood cabinets, marble countertops, a vessel sink and white walls

This busy household with 3 teens required a bathroom suitable for their growing teens, with a fun modern feel including a tub and separate shower. We converted a hall closet into a new 3x3 shower, removed an existing long vanity to add much needed linen storage and a floating vanity with drawer storage. Warm grays and soft off-white tones add contrast and a subtle pop of color is provided by the blue Quartz countertop and decorative retro mod tile. Both shower and tub areas have the Kohler shower columns with rain head and hand shower features. This bathroom had no exterior windows so a new Solatube was added which provides excellent bright, natural light to the space.
