You don't have to own a big celebrity mansion to have a beautifully appointed house finished with unique and special materials. When my clients bought an average condo kitted out with all the average builder-grade things that average builders stuff into spaces like that, they longed to make it theirs. Being collectors of colorful Fiesta tableware and lovers of extravagant stone, we set about infusing the space with a dose of their fun personality. There wasn’t a corner of the house that went untouched in this extensive renovation. The ground floor got a complete make-over with a new Calacatta Gold tile floor, and I designed a very special border of Lunada Bay glass mosaic tiles that outlines the edge of every room. We ripped out a solid walled staircase and replaced it with a visually lighter cable rail system, and a custom hanging chandelier now shines over the living room. The kitchen was redesigned to take advantage of a wall that was previously just shallow pantry storage. By opening it up and installing cabinetry, we doubled the counter space and made the kitchen much more spacious and usable. We also removed a low hanging set of upper cabinets that cut off the kitchen from the rest of the ground floor spaces. Acquarella Fantasy quartzite graces the counter surfaces and continues down in a waterfall feature in order to enjoy as much of this stone’s natural beauty as possible. One of my favorite spaces turned out to be the primary bathroom. The scheme for this room took shape when we were at a slab warehouse shopping for material. We stumbled across a packet of a stunning quartzite called Fusion Wow Dark and immediately fell in love. We snatched up a pair of slabs for the counter as well as the back wall of the shower. My clients were eager to be rid of a tub-shower alcove and create a spacious curbless shower, which meant a full piece of stone on the entire long wall would be stunning. To compliment it, I found a neutral, sandstone-like tile for the return walls of the shower and brought it around the remaining walls of the space, capped with a coordinating chair rail. But my client's love of gold and all things sparkly led us to a wonderful mosaic. Composed of shifting hues of honey and gold, I envisioned the mosaic on the vanity wall and as a backing for the niche in the shower. We chose a dark slate tile to ground the room, and designed a luxurious, glass French door shower enclosure. Little touches like a motion-detected toe kick night light at the vanity, oversized LED mirrors, and ultra-modern plumbing fixtures elevate this previously simple bathroom. And I designed a watery-themed guest bathroom with a deep blue vanity, a large LED mirror, toe kick lights, and customized handmade porcelain tiles illustrating marshland scenes and herons. This project is one of the most extensive TVL scopes to date! This house sits in a phenomenal site location in Golden and features a number of incredible and original architectural details. However, years of shifting had caused massive structural damage to the home on both the main and basement levels, resulting in shifting door frames, split drywall, and sinking floors. These shifts prompted the clients to seek remodeling assistance in the beginning of their renovation adventure. At first, the scope involved a new paint and lighting scheme with a focus on wall repair and structural improvement. However, the scope eventually evolved into a re-design of the entire home. Few spaces in this house were left untouched, with the remodeling scope eventually including the kitchen, living room, pantry, entryway and staircase, master bedroom, master bathroom, full basement, and basement bedrooms and bathrooms. Expanding the scope in this way allowed for a design that is cohesive space to space, and creates an environment that captures the essence of the family's persona at every turn. There are many stunning elements to this renovation, but a few favorites include the insanely gorgeous custom steel elements at the front entry, Tharp custom cabinetry in the kitchen and pantry, and unique stone in just about every room of the house. Our clients for this project are both geologists. This alone opened an entire world of unique interest in material that we have never explored before. From natural quartzite countertops that mimic mountain ranges to silky metallic accent tiles behind the bathtub, this project does not shy away from unique stone finds and accents. Conceptually, the clients' love for stone and natural elements is present just about everywhere: the dining room chandelier conceptually takes the form of stalactite, the island pendants are formed concrete, stacked stone adorns the large back wall of the shower, and a back-lit onyx art piece sits in a dramatic niche at the home's entry. We love the dramatic result of this renovation and are so thrilled that our clients can enjoy a home that truly reflects their passions for years to come!

The primary bedroom didn’t go untouched. We anchored the space with Benjamin Moore Dragon’s Breath on the accent wall—a moody, rich tone that adds instant depth. It sets a stunning backdrop for the Rejuvenation Imbrie Articulating Sconces, which bring a classic brass-and-enamel moment into the mix. Paired with Buster + Punch dimmer switches, the lighting now responds intuitively to any mood, from soft nighttime reading to bright morning motivation. Grounding the room is Dreamweaver’s Finishing Touch carpet in Shortbread, a soft, neutral foundation that keeps the room feeling cozy and connected to the palette of the bath.

We built a Covered Patio with an Outdoor Kitchen to fit the requirements of our client in Cypress, TX. This space was specifically designed to entertain, while leaving the beautiful view untouched. Our clients are able to soak in their appealing landscaping and maintain a view of the lake from within the home as well as in their outdoor kitchen. This structure was built to look original to the home, as brick, trim, and gutters were matched to the home. Tongue and Groove pre-stained wood were also added to the balcony and existing patio ceilings to match the new addition. The gable and truss style roof enhances this covered patio, adding height for a roomier feel. The outdoor kitchen boasts a stone face with lovely Bordeaux Dark granite countertops and ample seating. Grilling is not hindered, with a large grill and plenty of storage and counter space, the only thing missing is the meat! Finally, recessed lighting and ceiling fans create the perfect dining outdoors environment.

Bright colors and white cabinets were utilized to contrast the wood paneling and wood floors left untouched in the adjacent original living room. Originally built in 1970, this later-model Eichler—designed by architect Claude Oakland—features a distinctive “Model 14” roofline with a clipped gable, a subtle nod to the charm of English thatch-roof cottages. Acquired from the original owner, the home remained in untouched, original condition—offering a rare opportunity for restoration, but also presenting an urgent need for updates. Our approach was grounded in respect for Oakland’s original design intent, while thoughtfully incorporating essential upgrades to meet modern building codes and today’s lifestyle expectations. Eichler homes were originally built using modest, cost-effective materials to make modern architecture accessible to the growing mid-century middle class. While iconic, elements like laminate countertops, particle board cabinetry, and vinyl composition tile flooring haven’t stood the test of time. We carefully replaced these with more durable, high-quality alternatives—granite countertops, maple-ply cabinets, and luxury vinyl tile—ensuring the home remains true to its spirit while standing strong for decades to come. Surrounded by pristine wilderness, this simple scene reflects the essence of our ongoing project: a genuine connection between our craftsmanship and the untouched beauty of the natural world.

This was a whole home renovation where nothing was left untouched. We took out a few walls to create a gorgeous great room, custom designed millwork throughout, selected all new materials, finishes in all areas of the home. We also custom designed a few furniture pieces and procured all new furnishings, artwork, drapery and decor.

Family Room in Rolling Hills Dr | Transitional New Build in Cave Creek, AZ | Room Type: Whole Home Furnishings | Project Name: Rolling Hills Dr | Key Feature: A fully furnished transitional home designed to feel sophisticated and collected without being precious, so the clients could actually live in it and have their grandkids over without a second thought. Challenge: The clients had just completed a new build and needed a home that reflected their taste and life stage. They wanted something that felt elevated and intentional but not stiff or untouchable. The risk with transitional design at this level is that it can tip too far in either direction, ending up either too formal to live in or too casual to feel designed. Finding that balance in a brand new home with no existing character to work from is harder than it sounds. Solution: Living with Lolo furnished the entire home with pieces that layered sophistication with genuine comfort. Every selection was made with real life in mind, durable enough for grandkids, beautiful enough for entertaining, and cohesive enough to feel like a designer put it together rather than a furniture showroom. The transitional direction gave the home warmth and timelessness without leaning on trends that would feel dated in a few years. Materials: Transitional furnishings with a mix of natural textures, comfortable upholstery, layered rugs and textiles, and curated accessories sourced through Living with Lolo's trade relationships. High end patio home completely remodeled in the heart of McCormick Ranch! This 2 bdrm, 2.5 bath with den has been remodeled with the highest standards. The French Country kitchen has been updated with custom white glazed cabinets, marble counter tops, a paneled sub zero refrigerator, stainless steel appliances and a wonderful breakfast bar that opens to the great room. The great room is complemented with a large fireplace, floor to ceiling windows which are all shaded by plantation shutters. The large master suite includes a sitting. The master bath includes custom white glazed cabinets, marble counter tops, an oversized custom dual walk in shower and its own water closet. All new 6 inch hand scraped hardwood floors have been added to all the main living areas. The beams were stained to match the color of the wood floor. Nothing was untouched. Welcome Home!

This transitional kitchen design is as elegant as it is functional. Built in 1999, this kitchen has remained nearly untouched. With the need for a more functional space and storage, our team was able to completely rethink this kitchen design within its original footprint. Here we addressed a load bearing wall, allowing for an expansion of usable space and opened up the living area to feel more warm and inviting. By far this kitchen’s most notable feature is the custom cabinetry which creates an efficient and effective use of space.

In 17th century Isaac Newton identified the colors (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet) that make up the visible spectrum. And as his discovery at a time shocked the world and became a first step for a new era of discoveries and world evolution, we believe that the new Electric collection, creation of which is based on a solid theory of photon spectrum and physical characteristics of 4 speeds of rays which travel between Gamma as form of nuclear and cosmic radiation to infrared rays, a result of movement of lower-energy photons, will become a breakthrough of contemporary interior design. This collection reflects a principally new approach to perception of rug in interior making it an art object at the first place. Nevertheless, very important value that remains untouched whatever we do and however futuristic our works are is extreme care about ecologic background and sustainability of our product. Through all the history of Atelier Tapis Rouge each of our rugs has been manually drawn by the team of our designers and afterwards tinted and knotted by hands of best Nepalese craftsmen, who carefully maintain tradition of rug knotting throughout the centuries. The world has gone through a very hard time during last 2 years and perception of things, behavior, philosophic approach of people has changed drastically. We all need a recharge of energy and inspiration to restart our live paths in a new reality and there is no better place where we get energetic feed as home and family. Therefore, having created Electtrico we meant to boost the homes with warm solar energy – eternal source of life and continuity and we believe that it is a good start for new conquests.
