Exterior changes were made through the redesign and expansion of the entry, powder room, and kitchen pantry. We took care to craft every corner of this space to feel restful for guests. Custom frame mouldings draw the eye upwards and offer a sense of spaciousness. The headboard hand-wrapped in airy linen comforts with functional support while the earthy terracotta-pink fabrics bring about a sense of soft grounding. Thoughtful additions like the fluted side table and brass sconces provide both beauty and function for a relaxing stay.

The 12 foot Pella Sliding doors bring an abundant of light in during the day and privacy at night with the convenient blinds between the glass technology. The cherry cabinetry is finished in a beautiful French blue-grey striate with accents of walnut and adorned with polished nickel and crystal glass knobs. The extraordinary white Calacatta Romano marble countertops are reflected in the hand cut marble mosaics extending the full height of the wall providing a breathtaking moment upon entering this room. A quick cup of fresh hot coffee, espresso or cappuccino is easily accessible as Monsieur dresses for the start of his business day. Maybe he has time to sit at the marble peninsula and enjoy the view and the fireplace as he reads the morning paper and listens to the stock and traffic news. The refrigerator is elegantly camouflaged as an antique mirrored armoire. Inside is an undisclosed amount of cookie dough that serves to cure Madame's fervor for fresh shortbreads with her afternoon tea or a quick snack for the little one's playing in the Atrium. Simply place a few dollops of dough and place in the speed oven for just several minutes and voila. Monsieur loves to prepare a full breakfast for his d'amour as they lounge in their chambers on a lazy morning, along with hot baked croissants, frothing lattes, and fresh berries and cream. Everything he needs is just within reach...a fully stocked refrigerator, induction cooktop, speed oven and concealed dishwasher to provide an easy clean up.

The Hunter Douglas 3 1/2" louver white wood shutters add a beautiful feel to this spacious master bath. Tilting the louvers slightly upward will still allow natural light but also give privacy.

The backsplash is tumbled marble presented in a subway tile design. Note how it extends all the way up to the ceiling. There's also lighting behind the crown molding above the cabinets. Both of these elements serve to draw the eye upward and enhance the stature of the kitchen. Other elegant finishes include the corbels under the hood, and the tile mural above the range.

**Featured in Home & Design Magazine! The inspiration for this unique project draws on the clients’ love of Paris and the city’s vibrant romanticism and mix of architectural styles. Our challenge was to elevate builder-grade finishes in a newly-constructed townhome to create an urban retreat with aged patina for this young couple. Soft industrial elements were layered over Old-World inspired details on nearly every surface for maximum impact. We added rustic wood ceilings and industrial beams to create drama, texture, and value throughout. A Parisian-inspired glass/iron wall divider relieves the open concept floor plan, creating a more intimate seating space. Oversized pendants of steel, blown glass, horsehair and faux horn provide soft illumination while drawing the eye upward to architectural ceiling details. Custom midnight blue built-ins create a library that frames the entry and study. The deep and dramatic color palette of paint and wallpaper that adorns the walls is a vibrant mix of cobalt, citron, teal and smoky lavender. Light pours into the rooms from the large windows, reflects off the oversized acid-wash mirror, and forms dramatic shadows on the walls, setting the mood for this home.

This Noe Valley whole-house renovation maximizes natural light and features sculptural details. A new wall of full-height windows and doors allows for stunning views of downtown San Francisco. A dynamic skylight creates shifting shadows across the neutral palette of bleached oak cabinetry, white stone and silicone bronze. In order to avoid the clutter of an open plan the kitchen is intentionally outfitted with minimal hardware, integrated appliances and furniture grade cabinetry and detailing.
