Custom-designed cabinetry makes this space completely individual. The linen cabinet, with its vintage Deep Sky painted finish, wire mesh inserts and cabriole feet, feels as if it could have come from Provence, yet provides modern functionality. The vanities are custom designed to look like chests of drawers, although some of the fronts are actually doors. In spite of its old-world warmth, the bath features the most modern amenities, including a freestanding tub with advanced massage jets and a heated backrest, a spa style shower and more. The architectural plans didn't specify a linen closet, but the client needed storage. What's more, the closet had to be designed around a window that had been place in the center of the two vanities. The window dictated the height of this custom piece. In spite of this, the custom Deep Sky cabinet designed to store towels and other products became a centerpiece of the space. In addition, the vanities were thoughtfully designed with shelves and drawers of varying heights to accommodate the client's specific toiletries and cosmetics. The drive and foundation plantings approaching the renovated home were designed and built by Southern Landscape. The drive in front of the home was constructed of interlocking pavers with distinctive bands to create an inviting approach. Unique concrete planters break up and modernize the foundation.

This Manhattan Upper East side apartment renovation introduces memories of California into a New York setting for clients who embrace the Big Apple lifestyle but didn’t want to give up their Marin County, California comforts. The carved out ceilings and walls add a new dimension to the space; while the blond color woods and curved shapes bring memories of a calmer life. Family room - transitional medium tone wood floor family room idea in Boston with white walls

We created this large garden almost entirely w/ coniferous plants. We call this our "Vermont All-Season Color Garden"©. There is interest in this space every month of the year. Looks great in a bare winter or when there is snow. It is also low maintenance and care free. It is also unique.

The Upper Shade Garden The small enclosed Shade garden occupies the site of the former owners’ “kitchen” garden. It was here, protected from the deer by rock and wire fencing, that the two elderly ladies grew vegetables and flowers for the house.
