“Our home was built in the 1880s. We had lived here for more than 20 years. By raising four children, hosting many events and neighborhood gatherings, pets, and extended family living with us, the house and kitchen had served us well... and it showed. There were some moments of stepping on one another's toes and bumping against egos, but no permanent damage was done. This became a part of the story behind the finished product.”
