We used Jerry Lithwin Construction for some renovations including a couple deck additions, patio door and rear door additions, and some minor repairs. We are completely satisfied with everything. The project was completed on time. The on-site crew was very talented and friendly, and they seemed to have a good relationship with the builder, which is always a good sign. We highly recommended Jerry Lithwin Construction.

From the very start the team was professional, listened to our concerns, and was very attentive throughout the entire process from demo to completion. They continue to be a valued resource even after completion. Jon, Sadie, Evan and Steven were a delight to work with. Their attention to detail was on point organizing the multitudes of decisions with a ground up project. They focused on quality subs who delivered quality craftsmanship. Legacy's overall communication and reliability along with problem solving skills were top notch. As with any project, there are bumps in the road, Legacy assessed the issue and provided options and solutions every time. This is a rarity with contractors, but it Legacy cares about the project, and their reputation. Next time we build, you know that Legacy will be our first call.

His workers are sloppy, unprofessional, and cause more damage everytime they leave the site then they charge us for it to be repaired. Complete waste of money and our time

Steve and Lois make a great team! We had a small job that needed new drywall, texture and paint. Lois gave me a quick estimate and then was prompt to schedule the job. When it came time to complete the job they were on time, professional, and personable! I would highly recommend them!

I have had Landrith custom builders, remodel a home, build an accessory unit, and he pulled the permits. After water damage from a broke pipe, he worked with remediation and the insurance company to make my house safe. In addition he has done frame work, heating and plumbing, masonry, irrigation, water heaters, electrical, and more. Dane the owner is honest and I trust him with the care of my homes. I know that he is giving me a fair market quote for each job. Hi is also attentive to all of his employees to make sure the job is done right. the quality of his work is amazing and of high quality. W I will cont to be worry free when Landrith construction is hired to do the work on my homes. I Highly recommend Landrith custom builders.

Harvey Ward is exceptional in every way! We hired him to design the remodel of our 3,000+sf home from a five bedroom two and a ¾ bathroom to a five bedroom four and ½ bathroom home, including the construction of a new open concept kitchen and great room, wine room and new garage. We were so impressed with his designs and his collaboration incorporating our suggestions that we hired him for the build. It was the best decision we could have made. We live in the San Francisco Bay Area and relied on Harvey to manage the build in Paso Robles. The process was seamless. The end result perfection. Harvey was extremely responsive, answering questions or concerns almost instantaneously. As with any project, there were minor issues along the way and Harvey was incredibly responsive and usually out the next day to resolve it. His guidance and suggestions along the way enhanced the finished project. He has an eye for detail and always went the extra mile for us. Harvey isn’t satisfied until the customer is satisfied; he is highly recommended.

Tim was referred to use by Idler's Home Appliances, as Idler's was the company that we purchased the cabinets, appliances and counter top. Tim installs all of Idler's cabinets. As our project fell outside of only cabinet install, we contacted Tim to provide an estimate on other remodel issues, which included kitchen tear out, wall removal, electrical, plumbing, tiling, etc. Tim provided a detailed estimate we considered quite reasonable. As he was installing the cabinets for Idler's, we looked no further for a General Contractor. I would highly recommend Tim as a General Contractor. He provided a timeline and maintained that timeline for all areas within his control. As we live outside the area, Tim would text pictures each day of the progress being made. Also, Tim would provide recommendations on alternatives such as lighting, flooring, appliance delivery and installation, etc. all of which we did. And, most importantly for us, he was clean and tidy. You don't see that often, or at all, with most GCs. On a personal note, my wife passed away suddenly in the middle of the project. I contacted Tim and he stated not to worry, he would take care of everything. He did!

I hired JC Construction to do multiple projects (Including interior, exterior, structural and multiple other projects requiring a multitude of complex custom work required in difficult areas) on an extensive remodel on a 3 story modern Mediterranean style villa home built into a hillside overlooking San Luis Obispo. John provided an excellent value with great attention to detail to preserve the integrity as well as the internal and external appeal of this custom home. I would highly recommend JC Construction for future jobs as they did a fine job on rebuilding large portions of the unique Architectual features of this challenging project. 5 Stars and would use again and recommend to anyone needing jobs from small remodels/additions to very complex situations requiring a wide breadth of experience and attention to detail ! When I was doing a gut remodel on my home there was no question on who I was going to use. Stephen and his team responded quickly and thoughtfully walked me through the process. They were honest and set clear exceptions for cost and timelines (which they correctly estimated from the beginning). The work was done beautifully and they were always considerate to clean up after each day. I could not recommend them enough and look forward to working with them again on my next project.

Patio project - He said he would fix the grading on the path portion of the project last month, rescheduled and then never showed up. This is the most significant of many problems with this project.

Below is an overview of my experiences during a renovation by IMC Buildling/Isaac Montgomery in 2024. •The day after I closed, on my new house Isaac called and said “one of my guys” left tools in the house overnight and a window and the outside door to the garage had been severely damaged. I found out later his unlicensed and unsupervised son was responsible. Isaac did not reimburse me for the over $2K for replacements. •My garage was used to fabricate stone for the kitchen (permission not requested). Isaac said it had to be done on-site since it was sintered stone. That is not the case, and in addition the installer was a tile installer who had no idea how to install slabs. Instead of a plywood base he put in a sandy base and used thin set instead of silicone to mount the stone. When he put in a ¼” seam in the middle of my countertop I put a stop to it and hired a qualified contractor who had to replace everything. •I had all of the existing flooring replaced with LVP and told Isaac I wanted to make sure no dust got into the HVAC system since I’d had a motor in my prior home burned out due to that. He said it would not be a problem. I found the flooring buys cutting boards inside my house with nothing protecting the HVAC vents. It caused $1,270 of damage that Isaac refused to pay. •The stairs were modified to open up the wall that enclosed them. Renovations started in April, but there was no banister until July. This was a huge liability for me as a homeowner, but my requests to quickly resolve it were ignored. In addition, the area for the railing on the outside of the stairs was mismeasured. The installation had to be kludged, resulting in very thick bases for the railing that don’t look great. •Isaac insisted on ordering all of the appliances so he could keep track of everything (and of course get points on his credit card instead of mIne). The refrigerator was not there when I moved in as it turned out it was not delivered for a week. •I had specified a drawer microwave which required the modification of a cabinet. The cabinet was modified for a standard microwave and had to be re-modified. Then that one was done incorrectly and it had to be modified a 3rd time. •I was told the flooring upstairs would be replaced by the time I moved in and the upstairs would be my “oasis.” The upstairs was absolutely thick with flooring dust everywhere – truly disgusting. The downstairs was also filthy and my new (unused) induction range was not covered and was thick with dust – including in the vents. •Multiple new unused items that I was replacing were taken by Isaac without asking (lighting, sink, faucets, over-the-range microwave, pedestal sink). When I asked for them back Isaac threw them unsecured into the back of a pickup and broke a couple of the light fixtures. •By the time I fired the contractor the project was $6K over the entire budget with 12 projects unfinished. I received zero apologies for any of this.

JND Builders completed a variety of projects for us over the past 18 months: - raising the floor in our sunken living room/removing a partial height wall at the entry. - raising a partial height wall in the vanity of the master bath plus installing a pocket door. - installing a french drain. - installing a hood in our kitchen. - installing French doors in our dining room. They are very dependable and professional. Highly recommend.

We have worked with contractors in the past on major house projects, and John Woulbroun is by far the best. He came highly recommended and did not disappoint. He added a living room, master bedroom, and completely redid the kitchen and dining area. He also did outdoor hardscape. John completes one job before he starts another, so he does not spread himself thin running between jobs. Because of that, he finished our job in less than the estimated time. He presented a comprehensive spreadsheet of the estimated costs and stuck very close to it. John was on the job every day from 7 am until late afternoon, even when other subcontractors were here. He has a low-key manner and is an excellent communicator. He is upfront and honest with ideas and has an artistic flair to complement his outstanding construction skills.
