Boris and his team did a complete kitchen remodel for my house. I am extremely happy with the outcome! From the initial design phase Boris demonstrated his knowledge and caring, he made a lot of great suggestions and together we finalized the new layout of the kitchen. When it comes to the implementation phase, the team were excellent communicating to me the every day plan. They are on time, efficient, and professional. When they leave work every day they clean the site and put things up neatly! Both Boris and Joe are nice and they "think in your shoes!" Everyday Joe comes to the site to inspect the quality of the work. He is thorough, and keeping the high standard. Groysman Construction (Boris) did an amazing job on the remodel of our primary bathroom. The work was done on time and all of our neighbors commented on how efficient the team was and that they worked every day from beginning to end of the project. The quality of the work exceeded our expectations. We loved working daily with the project manager (Joe) and every trade (tile, paint/finish, plumbing and electrical) were truly craftsmen in their respective areas. Groysman Construction transformed my 1970s townhouse into a modern open-floor plan kitchen/living room (wall removal, new cabinets, island, quartz countertops, plumbing, lighting, appliances, flooring. Boris suggested making the dated Jack-and-Jill bath into two separate bathrooms, which turned out to be a much better use of existing space that and looks and feels so much bigger, plus adds value to the property. Groysman was no pressure, responsive, and offered options to our design requests. His team was respectful and cleaned up the work area daily. Groysman construction was amazing to work with for our home renovation. We added a master bath, redid an existing bathroom, put in all new flooring downstairs, new TV area, new storage cabinets, new sliding doors, painting, etc! Throughout the entire project they were communicative, reliable, collaborative, and efficient. All of the different guys that were brought into our home to do the demo, plumbing, flooring, painting, etc were all very respectful and professional. Since we didn’t move out during all this work it was so important to us and we were never put out or felt uncomfortable. The craftsmanship and attention to detail were awesome! We recently had the pleasure of working with Groysman Construction for a relatively extensive renovation of our kitchen, dining room, and great room, and we couldn't be more thrilled with the results. My husband, Ron, is 85,& I’m, 77. We live in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath, second floor condo overlooking Maple Canyon in Bankers’ Hill. We love it—but the 5” x 9” bathroom needed replacement. (Really needed it). My husband was on dialysis, was soon start on 5 weeks radiation, too. We needed a shower so he wouldn’t trip. I got referrals from several friends, interviewed a couple construction companies & scoured the internet for ideas. I told them all I didn’t matter to me when they’d be able to start, but I needed it be done as fast as possible. Estimates went from 4 weeks to several months. Cost estimates went as high as $40K. I went back to my internet research and brought up Groysman Construction and found their incredible website, from which I learned more about remodeling baths than I ever thought possible. I called for the 1 hour free assessment—design and costs. I told Boris what we needed-a short time of construction, and what the bath’s biggest challenge was. A wet room like shower in a 5 x 6 bath couldn’t happen. Boris said what I wanted was a “lipless” shower. He gave me a design and a price, and said he would complete it in 2 weeks, maybe less. I doubted it, but trusted him and agreed we’d use his company later—no hurry to start. He started the next week. He suggested I go to Floor and Decor in the Marina District to see their selection of tiles, grouts, shower models, and more. I did; I met with a member of their design team—Alisa First—and had a one hour free consult with her. I chose tile for the shower walls, shower floor and bathroom floor, and the shower hardware and grout I’d need. Below are the photos. We could not be more pleased. It’s beautiful, and more importantly, it’s safe. No falls, no slips, easy to reach towels. It was done in under 2 weeks, and at a lower cost (by over 25%) than the cost Boris quoted us. Two crafts men worked on it: Peter, who oversees in progress remodels, and Victor who did almost all of the tile work, I cannot say it better than the pictures show. Absolute pleasure working with Joe, the project manager and Boris, the general contractor! We had a complicated situation having to travel across the country and coordinate a lot of moving parts in order to complete an extensive renovation that was executed flawlessly. We were off site during construction and concerned about the quality of work to be done due to limited communication and lack of oversight but the team did not disappoint. They were always easy to get in touch with and timely in providing updates on the project. There were several minor issues, one regarding the incorrect closet door installation despite clear instruction on specific product selection but most all additional problems were all addressed immediately after identification. All things considered, we were lucky to have worked with such patient and skilled professionals and could not be happier with the end result!

Our house had a major slab leak and required an extensive amount of work to get it back to normal. Our project consisted of installing new kitchen cabinets and countertops, new flooring through the house, demo’ing and remodeling two bathrooms, etc. The team finished the project earlier than expected, and communication was clear and straightforward along the way. My family lived in the house throughout the demo and reconstruction; the team was very considerate and worked to minimize any disruption. The project manager, Joe, was terrific. He communicated the process and schedule along the way. Carlos was a master of everything. His work in framing, dry wall, painting, everything was top notch. Silver was an artist in his use of tile. The showers as well as kitchen backsplash tile work, should be highlighted on an HGTV home improvement show. Everyone was incredibly polite, cleaned up every day, and treated our house like their own and us like their family. Boris had a great vision for our house from the start, and helped steer us to a design that we love. Boris is very responsive and clear in his communications – there were never any hidden costs or questions about the schedule or status of the work. I hired Groysman Construction for my 1969 house remodeling project. This was an original home job bath laundry room with multiple convoluted problems. Groysman Construction worked with us to make this area turn into a jewel instead of an eyesore! A wonderful remodel! Also fixed some other problems in house such as putting in a ventilation system in kitchen, flooring, troubleshooting leakage in a window and recessed lighting. Constant communication and workers showed up daily. Any punch list items were handled immediately. Quality of workmanship. Job took about 5 weeks.

I decided to go with Groysman Construction, Boris and his team were very accommodating due to the fact I had my own Designer & Kitchen cabinet contractor which did make scheduling more difficult. I cannot say enough about Joe he pays close attention to detail and likes everything to look very nice and modern he was professional enough to keep me involved and not afraid to ask me questions. I had a very positive experience working with Groysman Construction. They remodeled my 35 year old kitchen, based on a pretty vague wish list. All I said was 'make it clean looking, uncluttered, contemporary, gray cabinets, save the floor'. Nonetheless, Boris and his designer were able to translate that into a beautiful kitchen that I am absolutely delighted with. At every turn, Groysman was very easy to work with. When I had to delay the start of the job by two weeks due to an unexpected family visit - no problem. When I had questions, Boris and his crew supervisor, Joe, were quick to get me answers. When there was a problem with a damaged component being delivered, Boris took swift action and made it right. All in all, Groysman Construction made it as easy on me as possible to get through the remodel and gave me a dream kitchen as a result. I highly recommend them!

Groysman Construction remodeled our master bathroom. The project involved replacing the bathtub with a shower stall, replacing a toilet with an upgraded model, replacing the vanity with a new one, replacing the tile floor to match the tile in the shower stall, replacing the mirror and the medicine cabinets and installing an exhaust fan and LED lights. I was very impressed with Boris and his people, especially Igor who supervised the job. They helped us with the selection of the tiles and the plumbing hardware. All of the craftsman who worked on the project were excellent, very meticulous and exacting. Everyone to whom we showed the finished project were very impressed. I would highly recommend this company!

They were patient, easy to work with and the project manager was very responsive whenever I contacted him in regards to questions or concerns. Sub-contractors did a solid job but GC was difficult to work with. A number of big mistakes made during our kitchen re-do and at the end of the project we felt like we had to micromanage everything in order to get it done. Also, after all the mistakes made during the project the GC still didn’t have the decency to take the time to drop off a touch-up kit he promised us.

I was dreaming about renovating my 72' condo that had almost everything left from the original owner ( old bathroom and kitchen, carpets and etc.) It was a big project for me and my husband and we started to look for professional to make our dream come true almost 10 months prior to the planned beginning date. At first, I was trying to find handyman and renovate the condo room by room, but then I realized that our lives would turn into a nightmare and we would be living in a mess for several months until the projects gets done. Then I decided to trust my project to true professionals and started gathering feedback across the internet and ask for references and that is how I came across Groysman Construction. From the first meeting the guys were serious about the project and start measuring everything and giving me an idea about the cost ( which for me was very important as we were going to fix EVERYTHING from the floor to the ceiling and the cost was important). We had multiple meetings with Igor and Andrew while we were finalizing the scope of work and the final estimate was pretty close to the original quotes. The only increases were due to the additional work we asked them to perform which was not originally budgeted. TEAM: Groysman construction got a great team of talented people. We really enjoyed working with Andrew, Igor, and Alexander. Igor was working in the construction for decades, so I would feel very comfortable to knock my whole place out and build my it from the ground. Andrew is a designer and was helping us to design the kitchen and other things around the place ( such as turning the closet for water heater into a storage area, designing the laundry and bathroom, and many other things). Andrew always comes with a great idea and Igor makes it happen in the reality. Alexander was main execution contact and his work ethic is excellent. He made our place look pristine! TIMING and COORDINATION: Igor was a project manager and he was scheduling everyone: painters, plumbers, demolishes, electricians and etc. Having a professional who knows the order in which all work needs to be done is a huge benefit and it allowed me and my husband to be hands off and only do a check ups to make sure everything goes smooth. We did have couple small hiccups, but Igor managed it well and we still finished everything on time. My advice to anyone whose project is more than just repainting the walls - let the professionals do the job. Yes, it would cost a bit extra but the results and all the stress you avoid along the way is well worth the cost. SCOPE of WORK: Groysman Construction has been hired to demolish the whole place, replace the floors, remove texture from walls and ceiling, remove heating wires and add lightning across the whole place, completely rebuild the kitchen and the bathroom, replace the water heater, paint walls and ceiling, assemble closets, demolish several walls in order to rebuild the laundry and closets area, replace all doors, attach tracks for the curtains, install window sills, update the plumbing, replace range hood, tile the kitchen, install quartz counter top etc. QUALITY of WORK: Let me say, unfortunately for myself and for other people, I am very demanding consumer. I always do everything in my life as close to perfect as possible and this is what I expect from other people. The work done by Groysman construction has exceeded my expectations. They turned our place into magic! Almost a year after the remodeling, our place looks as good as when they returned us the keys. I've heard so many horrible stories from my friends and coworkers about how bad their experiences were. It is such a relief that I do not have one of those stories to share with you. All I want to say is if you are looking for someone to complete your project - look no further, you will thank yourself many times for choosing Groysman Construction PRICE: I shopped around prior to hiring Groysman construction and I believe that they have very reasonable prices for the quality of work they perform. Very happy with our new kitchen. We bought a old house with stock everything so we could customize it to our desires. The entire kitchen project took about 2 1/2 weeks and we made some major alternations. They paid attention to hundreds of little details, which made this project come off so well. For example, we were not enthusiastic about a classic Lazy Susan, but they found a fantastic alternative that added rotating tray on the shelve; it holds much heavier items yet still gives us access to items in the back. I am definitely going to hire Groysman Construction again to help update our bathrooms.

We hired Groysman Construction for our kitchen remodel based on a friend's recommendation. We are so glad we did it! The whole process from initial design to the construction was just wonderful. Andrew, the designer was great with the on-the-spot designed changes. He was able to make the changes on the computer while we were discussing it and have a rendering right away. Igor, the project manager, was hands on and attentive. He was always responsive whenever we called or texted. He always gave us a daily update on what was done, what was being done and what would be done. Boris, the owner, was very knowledgeable and fair. They pointed out little design changes to make our final product just perfect. Over the past 4 years we have used Groysman Construction for many projects. They have re-modeled two bathrooms. Installed recessed lighting. Relocated our washer and dryer. Installed sliding doors. Most recently they re-modeled our kitchen beautifully. The cabinets layout was improved. An island fan was installed to open up the kitchen. They work with dreams that you have and add ideas to make it happen.

Needed my shower floor retiled due to improper drainage. Even though it was a small job, they did excellent work!

Boris and team gave my 80 year old Mom a beautiful kitchen with granite counters and beautiful design. They were very neat and mindful of my Mom's home and delicate condition. I hired Groysman Construction to do remodeling of the kitchen in my house and also to add high-efficiency high-airflow fans in two bathrooms. The remodeling was largely limited to replacing old appliances by the new ones. This required the electrical wires and terminals be replaced and the existing cabinets be modified to fit to the new appliances. Regarding installation of the fans, Groysman Construction discovered that existing ducts were too narrow and did not match the new fans' specifications. They proposed the ducts be replaced and they offered for that part of the job only very small fee, which surprised me a lot (pleasantly surprised, I might add). The overall job was done very well and in the promised time. In my estimation the total fee for the job was very competitive. I was very satisfied with Groysman Construction.
