“We can’t recommend Alterra highly enough. Jeffery Riddle and his team completely transformed our backyard by removing our old deck, installing patterned concrete pavers, pool heater, grounded umbrella, lighting, plants, and hardscaping. They also replaced our concrete driveway with gravel bordered by poured concrete, finishing in a single day. On another project a couple of years ago, Alterra completely transformed our small entry yard and front yard. Alterra’s incredible, high-quality work speaks for itself, and they’ve been reliable, proactive, punctual communicative, and a joy to work with on every project. Jeffery Riddle designed every project, offering helpful options and opinions to stay within our budget along the way. Jeff checks in frequently and is always also quick to answer texts and return calls. He makes you feel like you're his only client. He is proactive, patient, down to earth, and clearly loves what he does. After an unprecedented heavy rain revealed an issue with the coping drainage installation, Alterra did not hesitate to make things right. Jeff coordinated and paid for subcontractors to cover the floor repairs. The work was high quality and done in half the estimated time. To ensure our home was protected from this in the future, this also included installing and connecting commercial sump pumps and trough drainage to our existing system. My partner and I believe the true measure of a business is shown, not when everything goes right, but when things don't go according to plan; Alterra is a business that steps up. In our (unfortunate and unlikely) scenario, they went above and beyond to make sure everything was made right. We're thrilled with everything they’ve touched (i.e., every landscaping aspect of our home), and would hire them again in a heartbeat. If working with every contractor was exactly like this, being a home owner would be ten times easier!”

“My barren backyard has been transformed into a lovely, inviting space thanks to Kerry Burt’s expertise. He created a perfect design and it was perfectly executed. There were no delays, no excuses, no cost overruns. The workers came on time every day and worked hard, while Kerry came every morning to supervise. He was professional and personable, making him a pleasure to work with. I recommend him highly and would not hesitate to use him for another project.”

“My husband and I are extremely happy with Carolyn and her team . She came and looked at our project and explained in detail what was needed and why it was needed and created a plan for us. Her pricing was very fair and we felt like she did this project as if it were for herself . We are very pleased and plan to use this company for all of our future landscaping needs both commercial and residential .”
