Basement - transitional basement idea in Baltimore

Some very customized features were needed in this quilting-sewing room. Different height counters, dozens of drawers for all the necessary tools needed for both sewing and quilting. Fabric storage and space for display and books all were incorporated into a challenging angled room.

We took this empty shell of an unfinished basement and framed it in, finished it, adding a bar and a bathroom. It's now the perfect space to gather with friends and family to watch the big game. Plenty of space to add a pool table one day!

This basement was transformed into the ultimate family hangout, perfect for game days, family nights, and everything in between. Custom features include a Murphy door with an under-stair bookcase, a stylish bar area, a fireplace with built-ins that echo the upstairs aesthetic, a home gym with double doors, a bold accent wall behind the TV, a hidden electrical panel, and a full bathroom. The result is a space that blends function with fun, and it has already become a favorite spot for the kids.
