With this homeowner being a geologist, they were looking for a very earthy, stone-based feel. The stone for the countertop was selected first, and then a bright color was found to match the rusted stone esthetic. The window was also opened to give life to the owner’s beautiful view and grey upper-cabinets were used to tie the appliances into the rest of the design. A country club respite for our busy professional Bostonian clients. Our clients met in college and have been weekending at the Aquidneck Club every summer for the past 20+ years. The condos within the original clubhouse seldom come up for sale and gather a loyalist following. Our clients jumped at the chance to be a part of the club's history for the next generation. Much of the club’s exteriors reflect a quintessential New England shingle style architecture. The internals had succumbed to dated late 90s and early 2000s renovations of inexpensive materials void of craftsmanship. Our client’s aesthetic balances on the scales of hyper minimalism, clean surfaces, and void of visual clutter. Our palette of color, materiality & textures kept to this notion while generating movement through vintage lighting, comfortable upholstery, and Unique Forms of Art. A Full-Scale Design, Renovation, and furnishings project.

Downsizing to a downtown sky rise was exciting for my clients, but came with an array of challenges. My client is an avid cook, with all the gadgets and small appliances out there, but now didn’t have the space or easy access to them. The building design brought on other challenges, with angled walls creating awkward spaces in the small pantry and with cabinetry. By removing a door from the kitchen to a guest bedroom, we transformed the pantry to a fully functioning additional workstation. Fully retractable pocket doors give you full access to food & small appliances that are ready to use without moving. Custom tall lazy susans maximize an angled corner. Custom cabinets now maximize the corners that were wasted before, and a Galley Sink makes prepping meals a breeze, and maximizes countertop space when entertaining. A steam oven makes cooking easier with less mess. They love it!

Located in Sedona, Arizona, Stargazer Trail was designed as a peaceful retreat surrounded by towering trees and the quiet beauty of Oak Creek. Our client wanted a vacation home that felt warm and welcoming for personal getaways while also offering the durability and low-maintenance features needed for future guests and short-term stays. Rather than reinventing the home's rustic character, we built upon it. Original pine tongue-and-groove ceilings were preserved, while a palette of black, cream, and natural textures introduced a fresh, contemporary contrast. Thoughtfully selected furnishings, durable materials, and an emphasis on indoor-outdoor living create a home that feels connected to its surroundings while offering a comfortable escape in every season.

Multi-generational living can feel crowded, but this ADU provides a separate, functional space without sacrificing connection. It handles site limits by maximizing views and light efficiently. The concept mixes sloped roofs and simple boxes for a fresh, modern feel that fits the landscape. A large deck extends the living area outdoors, inviting relaxation amid the scenery. Standard wood framing keeps it durable and budget-friendly, built strong for Colorado's elements. South orientation and big windows bring in passive solar warmth and natural light, reducing energy needs while keeping things cozy. Practical main floor with one bedroom, two baths, office, mudroom, and open kitchen-living – all designed for ease and flow. Completed in 2022, the Golden ADU is a smart solution for family living. It blends privacy, views, and efficiency, creating a peaceful space that strengthens bonds and enhances life in the mountains.
