Hi,

I have several landscape lights that are powered by a transformer that turns on automatically at dusk. I've just added some other low voltage lights around my deck however I'd like to power those separately - in other words I don't want those to turn on automatically at dusk. Can I use a single feed and then branch off one of the lines to a switch to power those new lights separately? If so, can I use a traditional switch (rated for outdoors) that is covered?
