Different lamp shades ... Yay or nay?

I just got these lamps this morning and the white and grey is exactly what I have been looking for! Problem is, they only had one :( I can make the 90 minutes round trip drive to their other store to see if they have one in stock (they won't tell you via phone!) but was wondering if this would work?
grey on hubby's nightstand and striped on mine?
