Do you have a photo of the counters your wanting to add lighting to?

Not sure what, about under cabinet lighting you are asking about. At this point, LED is the best, and today, is more affordable. It does not give off heat, and is very bright. Consider LED lights that have a diffused cover, and make sure you mount them in the middle of the bottom of the cabinet because the beam span for LED lights is not that wide. If you mount LED in the back, it will provide more light on the wall, if you bring them too far forward, and you have a light rail trim, that trim could block the beam.. good luck

HI -- Put in some LED lighting which comes in several styles --- I recommend a tape form because it has a small profile that can be hidden behind a small trim . It has a full clean light which lights up the counter totally . The puck style gives pooled blotched light .And all LED lighting can be put on dimmers if you need that .
