We just purchased our new home and it has a very dramatic foyer - beautiful double staircases with georgous Emporium Dark marble (dark brown with ivory "veins" and diamond inserts throughout - with dark red mahogany hardwood floors throughout the entire first floor and two story foyer windows. My question is would a rich chocolate brown wall color with white/ivory trim be too dark for that area? With Shaker Beige as secondary wall color. We have lots of windows that give off natural light and plan to use warm tones throughout the home (browns, rusts, olive greens, Burgundy, creams)..... Would appreciate any recommendations! Thank you!
