Not my kitchen. It’s my Inspiration in terms of having Prairie inspired doors. I really like the way those pulls play off the linear elements of the doors as my doors have somewhat of the same linear element.

I just got off the phone with Oak Park and it actually comes without the plate. He is sending me a picture of it without the plate because it's a bit hard to figure out how it would look from the picture. They are made to order so I can size to order as well. The dishwasher pull might make sense to be a bit smaller.

Not as bad as Baltica - the pulls I saw on the internet were $672 per pull (not appliance size - just normal size)

Thanks everyone - Although the inspiration hardware is gorgeous, after discussing with my designer we agreed that there would be too much design going on between my doors and the Notting Hill Prairie Tulip knobs and pulls so I located a simpler "Mission" style pull which I'll be ordering in the oiled rubbed finish.

And it's only approximately $62.00 versus the almost $300 price for the other pulls :-)

I liked the lines of the Atlas but the decorative medallion would also have competed with the other elements.

Here's the one I'm going with but the only picture is with a brass finish. Interesting how much finishes impact overall look as I wouldn't think of this as "Mission" when done in shiny brass.

I like this one that you chose better than the Crown Point pulls, Helen. I prefer the simple lines and it looks a lot easier to keep clean.

I agree that ultimately the simpler design pulls are better once I got off the replication of my inspiration kitchen. And I also did have some thoughts about whether I wanted to grasp two separate bars versus one.

It was great that people helped me to source the hardware possibilities so that I didn't have to think of the pulls as the one that got away since I was the one who rejected them LOL.

On the subject of appliance pulls - I am assuming that 8" is standard for a dishwasher and 12" for the refrigerator.

Helen I had seriously considered that same appliance pull for my kitchen in ORB. Because I had done the glass pulls and knobs, I felt it was too linear with my pulls. Love all your choices but then again, I would being a lover of craftsman and prairie.

@cpartist - Ooh glass pulls and knobs - love that choice. I just saw a kitchen that had those this morning - what a coincidence.

In another life I would have another kitchen with Jadeite touches - and then another kitchen with turquoise appliances, terrazzo floors and boomerang counters - or maybe recycled glass in concrete counters like the ones done by Ice out of the Brooklyn Navy Yard. It's pretty much an approach approach decision process which is the hardest to settle on. I know I will have pangs of omg what horrendous mess did I create when I see final installation but then it will be all good - fingers crossed :-)

There is a Yiddish curse which (to paraphrase) is "May you be so rich that you have a hundred homes and each home shall have a hundred rooms and may you be so crazy that you run from room to room for the rest of your life :-). Of course curses are always better in Yiddish LOL.

I thought the same thing beyond the cleaning aspect. I'm a klutz so I could see myself being pre-occupied and jamming or dislocating a finger joint on those double bar pulls.
