We are ready to paint our basement, and I was hoping to make it look like a cool space for older kids and adults. I was wondering if anyone had ideas about paint colors including door and molding colors. I thought about painting all the doors and moldings black and the walls a light color to keep it from looking too dark. What do you think? Would shiny Black doors look cool? I have 8 doors including french doors into Gym and a 4 panel glass barn door at bottom of the steps. Just hoping for some design ideas instead of going with the simple white as it is now. The floors are white tile that looks like wood. Oh - And there's only 1 window for light.
