Wall and tile the pipe area and have a glass "window" between?

sorry, but why exactly would you want these pipes visible? are you doing an industrial grunge type of decor?

I don't want the pipes visible. I'm trying to find a creative way to cover them and still have light coming through. I have a small bathroom and the glass was a great idea to open it up, but now I can't do a full glass.

Yes, we talked about that, but the pipes aren't "straight" enough so the "window" would be off-centered. But, it's a great idea.

what about lighting? You want a shower that offers you light but enclosed that corner will be like a cave. is that what you're saying?

there is no way to wrap those in glass, not have the pipes visible and still look good.

so either have an enclosed shower w/optimum lighting, move the pipes, put a skylight over the shower (or in the ceiling somewhere),or Put a window in the wall if you have an exterior wall, or rearrange your bathroom layout so that the shower isn't in a cave. Those are the solutions that I see.

put the tower and toilet back there in the corner and have the shower on the vanity side

I live in a loft high-rise, so I'm limited in what can be done and I can't move pipes. My contractor recommended adding a light between the toilet and the shower, plus I'll have a light over the tub and vanity. Oh well. It was "pipe" dream from the start. LOL.

Add a light directly over the shower stall. You can use one with an exhaust vent, too, if that fits the loft high rise situation.

We live in condos also and had the same situation, with pipes and electrical running up one side of our shower. We enclosed that wall, added a full glass front and lighting in the shower. It feels very open and airy, not cave like at all.

DALS LED lights do not need those blue electric boxes behind them and are self-contained. They fit in the depth of the ceiling drywall. Sorry for not being clear in my post. There is a light in the shower and the contractor will add a light between the shower and the toilet. I wanted that open look and feel and not the fully enclosed look because my shower is narrow 32 x 32. He can expand the length of the shower by 3 inches, but that's it. Oh well. I'm using light colored tile and a minimalist design so perhaps everything will work out. The building engineer recommended glass blocks and my contractor told him NO WAY, this isn't the '70s. LOL.
