Just like my multi setting nozzle sprayer, I use a Dramm watering wand. It is the same tool that is used by my local nursery.

Mine is the model second from the far right.

Just FYI, the metal ones are probably still going to have a proposition 65 warning ... might be for a different compound potentially in the aluminum than potentially in the plastic (or it might be the same ... I don't know), but I'd pretty much expect the warning to be there, so if it's just the prop 65 warning, be prepared to see it again; if it's that you don't like the plastic and like the metal better, then you can ignore this comment.

Katy......the one I'm looking at is this one at amazon (am i allowed to say that here??) I don't think it's made for gardening application, but i would use it for that. I think it's brass. Would brass put anything bad in the water?? Okay.....if you look at the link I sent, supposedly i would need to buy the appropriate end connectors. I just haven't figure it all out yet. I've seen another metal one on amazon, but it has a push button that controls the water flow, and i have a lot of thumb arthritis, so i wouldn't want to do that. What I want is one that has a shut-off control on it like the one that gardengal is showing. But if i can't find one with that, i can always add a little shut off that screws on the hose end of it. BlueberryBundtcake...............Thanks for that caution. And even if they put a prop 65 warning on it, It's hard to know if it's in the plastic or the aluminum/metal. I guess I could call the company.

Gardengal.....is yours metal or aluminum or plastic? Can you unscrew the shower head on it? I like to us it without that nozzle.

Almost entirely metal (aluminum) with a rubber grip. On/off switch is either plastic or a very hard rubber. And yes, the shower head is removable and replaceable with other options. Many Dramm tools have interchangeable parts.

And they come with a lifetime guarantee.

Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc ... though I think it carries the same prop 65 warning as aluminum for lead and nickel.

@gardengal48 (PNW Z8/9): which of these two do you have or which would recommend? I will give it a try bases on your recommendation.
