We took the wall down between the kitchen and family room and installed a downdraft range in the newly created peninsula. We kept existing cabinets and countertops to keep the price down, but created a temporary wood bar top, which is perfect for entertaining.

Inspired by our client’s admiration for the Italian architect and designer, Ico Parisi, we reproduced this circa 1975 credenza featuring crisp precision profiles that frame the three cabinet doors with 25 hand turned solid brass buttons and custom key hole lock, with bleached fiddle back Maple interior and hand rubbed black enamel exterior. Supported by a delicate solid polished brass “V” shaped base and jewelry quality metal work by Stefani & Co. Like a fine Italian tuxedo, this credenza is sophisticated, sharp, and timeless.

Bleached Birch is a stunning, off-white cork floor that performs both as a "white" and a "pale gray". It runs the gamut between Modern and cottage chic. No matter your design style, Bleached Birch fits the bill.

Ann Lowengart Interiors took a dated Lafayette Tuscan-inspired villa and transformed it into a timeless Californian ranch. The 5,045 Sq. Ft gated estate sited on 2.8-acres boasts panoramic views of Mt. Diablo, Briones Regional Park, and surrounding hills. Ann Lowengart dressed the modern interiors in a cool color palette punctuated by moody blues and Hermès orange that are casually elegant for a family with tween children and several animals. Unique to the residence is an indigo-walled library complete with a hidden bar for the adults to imbibe in.
