Modern luxury meets warm farmhouse in this Southampton home! Scandinavian inspired furnishings and light fixtures create a clean and tailored look, while the natural materials found in accent walls, casegoods, the staircase, and home decor hone in on a homey feel. An open-concept interior that proves less can be more is how we’d explain this interior. By accentuating the “negative space,” we’ve allowed the carefully chosen furnishings and artwork to steal the show, while the crisp whites and abundance of natural light create a rejuvenated and refreshed interior.
This sprawling 5,000 square foot home includes a salon, ballet room, two media rooms, a conference room, multifunctional study, and, lastly, a guest house (which is a mini version of the main house).

When the Eucalyptus collapsed of its own accord, the Aoyagi's replaced it with this still-young Sycamore. They planted it quite small to ensure its success, and in just three years effectively shades the patio. As it grows, it will eventually reach the heights of the Eucalyptus it has succeeded.

The vintage chandelier was a family heirloom, as well as the large scale painting above the dining table. These two pieces inspired the selections for the rest of the space. Since this is a tight NYC apartment, we selected a collapsible dining table that becomes a console table when not in use, but can seat 6 people comfortably when it is fully expanded.

A new deck isn’t just for looks, it might be necessary to keep you safe! The old wood retaining wall was ready to collapse into the driveway and the deck was not only an eyesore, but had become a safety issue. We replaced the deck and added a stone retaining wall, creating the perfect space for flowers and shrubs.

These homeowners are well known to our team as repeat clients and asked us to convert a dated deck overlooking their pool and the lake into an indoor/outdoor living space. A new footer foundation with tile floor was added to withstand the Indiana climate and to create an elegant aesthetic. The existing transom windows were raised and a collapsible glass wall with retractable screens was added to truly bring the outdoor space inside. Overhead heaters and ceiling fans now assist with climate control and a custom TV cabinet was built and installed utilizing motorized retractable hardware to hide the TV when not in use.
As the exterior project was concluding we additionally removed 2 interior walls and french doors to a room to be converted to a game room. We removed a storage space under the stairs leading to the upper floor and installed contemporary stair tread and cable handrail for an updated modern look. The first floor living space is now open and entertainer friendly with uninterrupted flow from inside to outside and is simply stunning.
