This master bath was transformed from a dull and outdated area into a luxurious space boasting only the finest selections and amenities.The white marble floors are heated for optimal comfort and luxury. The marble continues up the shower walls to windows trimmed with coordinating white marble capital moulding allowing natural light to flood into the room. The marble shower floor and niche lend a sophisticated nod to a refined pattern of bubbles. The niche was purposefully placed subtly around the corner to hide the client's shower necessities. Only the finest European fixtures and hardware were used throughout. The soaking tub is the centerpiece of the room with its graceful and delicate curves luring you into the bath. Elegantly detailed water jet marble topped with white marble capital moulding wraps the walls of the entire room evoking a feeling of warmth. The water jet marble is continued on the vanity wall behind the stunning crystal sconces and mirrors that reflect the charming sparkle of the chandelier above. Artisanal handmade glass sinks with a shimmering stripe of silver leafing are surrounded by the impressive porcelain countertops that add even more glamour and stature to this exquisitely appointed master bath.

The Shinnecock elevated coast line is the setting for this modern minimalistic yet grand-scale summer residence Jendretzki LLC designed the house to embrace the stunning sunset views over the bay. The rooflines ‘float” allowing sunlight to penetrte everywhere at all times, while end to end, floor to ceiling glazing facing the bay lets the nature be seamlessly inside. The endless edge swimming pool intends to be an extension of the bay. Stone, wood, and glass delicately interacting provide for a warm, calm living.

The living room features a custom concrete fireplace inlaid with copper, inspired by Japanese Kintsugi pottery. A glowing overhead light handmade from washi paper harkens a resemblance to whales and seashells, a quiet reference to the ocean nearby. Reclaimed, FSC certified elm wood flooring with a no VOC finish was used throughout the home, bringing in natural color and patterning while giving careful consideration to environmental impact. No VOC paints were used throughout the home. A coffee table made by a local artisan offers dual surfaces for storage, with a slim profile that lets the fireplace and overhead light shine. A painting by Kaoru Mansour reflects the homeowners love of birds, and brings in a glimpse of nature in the evening. Delicate peonies in a glass ombre vase complement the detailed work of art.

A modern kitchen with a traditional feel, this kitchen remodel was a complete gut rehab with a new window, electrical, plumbing, drywall, along with all the finishes. The door style cabinets are a lovely gray color from J&K painting, which stands out against the crisp white quartz counters and subway tile backsplash. The backsplash contains a penny accent, in a soft white color with a small delicate circular design, adding a warm tone to the bright whites. The kitchen also includes pendant lighting and dark wood plank tile flooring, giving the space a timeless finish. This kitchen also includes a row of directional spotlights, under cabinet LED lighting, a hidden microwave, new window above sink, and an electrical outlet in the top drawer next to the fridge for phones and other electronics. A trio of Pod pendants in Crystal glass hangs above the dining room table. The Pod modern pendant light funnels light delicately through its long, cylindrical shape and is finished with our dramatic, signature inward curvature. The soft glow emitted from the handmade pendants balances the natural light streaming in from the skylights and walls of windows, which boast views of Wasatch Mountain. The large buffet brought back from China adds a splash of color to the room's otherwise neutral palette.

A minimalist modern faceted crystal chandelier takes center stage in a serene mauve room, exuding a subtle elegance and casting a mesmerizing glow. The soft watercolor still life painting graces the wall, adding a delicate touch of artistic beauty to the space. This harmonious combination of the crystal chandelier and the gentle artwork creates a tranquil ambiance, where contemporary sophistication seamlessly merges with soothing aesthetics.

This beautiful, 1,600 SF duplex three-bedroom, two-bath apartment in the heart of the West Village was originally a diamond in the rough with great potential. The coop is located on a quiet, tree-lined street and, as a top floor unit, boasts lovely southern and eastern exposures with views of this charming neighborhood overlooking the Hudson. Our clients were making a big move from the West Coast and wanted the new home to be ready in time for the start of the new school year, so Studioteka’s architecture and interior design team rolled up our sleeves and got to work! Construction documents were prepared for the coop board and NYC Department of Buildings approval and our team coordinated the renovation. The entire unit had new hardwood flooring, moldings, and doors installed, the stairs were gently refinished, and we took down a wall separating the living room from a small den on the lower level, making the living space much more open, light-filled, and inviting. The hot water heater was tucked away in an unused space under the stair landing, allowing for the creation of a new kitchen pantry with additional storage. We gut-renovated the upstairs bathroom, creating a built-in shower niche as well as a brand new Duravit tub, Mirabelle high-efficiency toilet, American Standard matte black fixtures, and a white Strasser Woodenworks vanity with black hardware. Classic white subway tile lines the walls and shower enclosure, while black and white basketweave tile is used on the floor. The matte black towel hooks, toilet roll holder, and towel rod contrast with the white wall tile, and a shower curtain with a delicate black and white pattern completes the room. Finally, new mid-century modern furnishings were combined with existing pieces to create an apartment that is both a joy to come home to and a warm, inviting urban oasis for this family of four.

This luxurious bathroom comes complete with a custom vanity, ample drawer storage including cabinets on top of the countertop enhanced with frosted glass doors. The bathroom floor is a field of porcelain damask and diamond-shaped tiles with a border that follows the perimeter of the room including the shape of the cabinetry. Faucets for the vanity are chrome and they are offset from center for a nice symmetrical look. Delicate chrome sconces flank a 48" round mirror that makes the room feel spacious. A gray glass subway tile backsplash is continued around the entire perimeter of the shower. The shower floor is a zero-entry shower which means that it is at the same level as the bathroom floor. Damask shapes continue in the shower. They grace the back wall as a waterfall feature that highlights the rain shower head. The handle to turn on the shower is installed on the adjacent wall so the homeowners can turn on the water without getting that first cold burst. An elegant chrome chandelier is hung at the center of the vanity and extends down from the wood molding feature on the ceiling. Inside a damask-shaped pattern is stenciled for a very dramatic effect. Glass knobs were used for the vanity hardware and a glass knob follows suit on the frosted glass entry door.

Room to breathe! Here, with remodeling & design, we created effortless movement & flow from entry to dining to living space. Our floor-to-ceiling cabinetry solutions maximizes storage & frees up valuable floor space while consistent elements connect each zone seamlessly. The minimalist dining nook/craft center proves that sometimes all you need is one bold color to do just that! The vibrant mustard chairs create a stunning contrast against the clean lines of our marble tulip table and textured walls. We love how the organic curves of these statement pieces soften the modern aesthetic, while the geometric accent pillow and beautifully selected artwork ties everything together. Even the delicate branches in the handcrafted vase add natural movement to balance the sleek surfaces. With the bold yet subtle color palette, we started with a neutral foundation: whites, blacks, grays and introduced just one standout hue. Let that color appear in strategic touches throughout the space for a cohesive look that doesn’t overwhelm.

This floral-filled girls’ room is every bit as charming as its name. Designed in soft shades of blue, pink, green, and white, the space feels timeless and playful all at once. Delicate bow details and blooming patterns add a touch of sweetness, while traditional elements give the room a sense of grace and longevity. Perfect for a little girl to grow into, Bluebells & Bows is a whimsical, feminine space rooted in classic design.

A simple entryway lets hand made sconces by artist David Wiseman shine. Decorating the table top is a delicate crystal 20 karat yellow gold hand painted Baccarat butterfly sculpture. A slim entry table by a local craftsperson provides space enough space for entry odds and ends, without allowing clutter to accumulate. David Wiseman geranium sconces are the first work of art you see when entering the home, and offer a moment of beauty and appreciation before continuing deeper into the house.

These Northern Virginia residents have owned this vacation home for about ten years. With retirement imminent, they decided to give the entire home an over-haul. With it’s great bones and amazing location, this seemed like a very sound investment for their future. Paola McDonald from Olamar Interiors had been working with the clients for the past three years, helping them to renovate their Sterling, VA condominium and their Moorefield, WV weekend home. It seemed fitting that they would also hire her to help them renovate this home as well. For this project we took the home down to the studs and practically rebuilt it. The renovation includes an addition to the basement level and main floor to create a new fitness room, additional guest bedroom and larger kitchen and dining area. It also included a renovation of the facade of the home. The exterior of the home was completely re-sided and painted, and we added the tall windows at the stairs. The lower entry deck was expanded and an upper deck was added just off the kitchen in order for the homeowner to keep his grill away from the strong ocean winds. A new deck was also added off of the master bedroom. New stainless steel railings were added to all the decks. We opened the homes stairwells, adding custom glass railings and new lighting to create a much more open feel and allow for natural light to flood the entire main living area. The original, tiny kitchen was expanded substantially, adding a large custom eat in bar, wine storage area and plenty of storage. We utilized Decora’s Marquis Cabinetry in an espresso finish to give the kitchen a very clean, contemporary feel. Carrara marble countertops paired with a grey quartz, single slap marble backsplash, and stainless appliances create a clean look. In the new dining area, a simple Modloft dining table was paired with a Regina Andrew bubbles chandelier and Jessica Charles dining chairs for a sophisticated feel accentuated perfectly by beachy colors and textures that tie in the beautiful views of the Ocean. A custom chandelier from John Pomp is the highlight of the family room, particularly at night when it is reminiscent to fireflies in the sky. A new custom designed, custom made sectional, cozy newly added Spark Modern Fires gas fireplace, custom rug by Julie Dasher and Lee Industries chairs create a cozy place to lounge and watch television after a long day at the beach. Guests feel like they are in a luxurious boutique hotel complete with spectacular views, comfortable Ann Gish linens and beautiful and unique lighting fixtures. All three full baths and the powder room received complete facelifts with new glass, marble and ceramic tiles, Decora cabinetry, new lighting fixtures, quartz countertops and unique features that make unique statements in each one. Phillip Jeffries mica wallpaper are used in the entryway and family room fireplace walls to add a sandy texture to each space. Phillip Jeffries grasscloth was added to the master bedroom accent wall to create a delicate feature. New flooring throughout includes gorgeous dark stained hardwood floors, ceramic tile and Karastan carpeting in the bedrooms. The crisp white and grey walls are accentuated throughout the home by beach inspired turquoises, navies and lime greens. A two-tone cabinet design sets the tone for this transitional kitchen design. The kitchen included a complete reconfiguration of the layout to improve the kitchen's efficiency, storage, and style. Echelon cabinetry with a dark wood island contrasting the gray-painted perimeter cabinets is accented by Richelieu hardware in antique nickel. A Blanco Ikon white farmhouse sink pairs with a Delta Essa arctic stainless faucet. Silestone countertops and a Zumpano Antic Brite Delicate Gray backsplash tie the color scheme together. A layered lighting scheme including Task Lighting undercabinet lights provide ample light for every occasion. Custom storage accessories transform the cabinetry into ideal storage solutions for every item required in a busy kitchen.
