Master Bedroom before and after design, renovations & upgrades by Hope Designs. We had the pleasure of working with some amazing customers in 2014! Here's an example of a stunning master bedroom featuring built-in cabinetry (that stores all of their clothing), a customized make-up vanity, and customized luxury bedding that we designed for our Design Clients in Caledon Ontario. They wanted an updated feel that was also practical and comfortable. The custom built-in fireplace with the stacked stone wall helps to achieve this. Spa - Like Beachy Modern Bathroom in Carlsbad
Inspiration for a large modern master gray tile freestanding bathtub remodel in San Diego with shaker cabinets, white cabinets, blue walls and an undermount sink

This Master Bathroom renovation included removing outdated fixtures and finishes, relocating the shower and tub, and creating a lighter brighter space. Tongue and Groove 1" x 6" V joint pine planks were applied to the walls and ceilings and painted white. Schluter tile backer and linear drain were used in the curb-less shower. Rainhead shower, and bath fixtures in Moen oil rubbed bronze finish.

To accomplish all of her design goals though, Jenny needed help. “I don’t have the patience to measure or figure out dimensions. Plus, I have a toddler and a full-time job at a tech start up. I just wanted someone to do it all for me,” she explains. Originally, she and her sister used IKEA’s design service, but found that process time consuming and confusing. In fact, the IKEA planner had issues with IKEA’s software during the design process, which delayed the project. “So, I found IKD and immediately signed up,” she says, adding that she worked with IKD on designs at night while her baby was asleep. And while the design process took months, for that reason, Jenny concludes that, “Paulina at IKD was amazing, was so responsive and answered all my questions!”

This is an organic Lime Wash done with a true lime wash product as opposed to a brick mortar or concrete that is often seen on new houses. This product can be applied as a solid coating making the surface completely white, or can be applied and "washed off" in many artistic ways, as seen here. Remodel or Refresh??? We get that question all the time in our initial home consult. They want the space updated, but don't want to spend the money that a true gut and remodel costs. In this case we offered valuable advice of how to spend the amount they were comfortable with to transform the space the most changes possible. We kept the island and buffet base cabinets stained, but painted the perimeter and buffet uppers to brighten the space. New counters, lighting, a, backsplash, lighting, and hardware were also very impactful. But, the biggest change was removing uppers and creating a whole floating shelf wall with tile behind and sconce lighting. All of this was done with Landmark Remodeling
