Coming off a colored concrete driveway, a brick walkway of Outer Banks Belden pavers swoops to the front door. A dry streambed captures overflow that fails to make the catch basin and directs it down a dry streambed protecting the home.

The homeowner had a practical problem of a system of failing timber retaining walls that were integral to supporting the frontyard and transitioning the house to the ground. The new design capitalized on this opportunity by replacing the practical lines of the previous walls with undulating curves of concrete block, creating a dynamic series of terraces for interesting pocket plantings and a fountain focal point at the front entry.

This kitchen used to be dominated by golden oak cabinetry. The owners started to think about remodeling their kitchen after the existing wall oven / cooktop combo started to fail. The homeowner used Houzz to save photos she liked of different kitchens. Interior Trends Inc. brought those ideas to life and they now have a beautiful and functional kitchen!

The family at this Roswell, Georgia retaining wall project wanted more functional space in their backyard. The property had failing cross-tie timber retaining walls which we removed, along with twenty-seven truckloads of dirt behind them, before installing five retaining wall systems in order increase the useable space between three and four times.

The larger stone pavers act as connecting walk transitioning from the drive/parking to the homes entrance.
These pavers also function to help prevent street runoff off of this property. The original drive failed due to inadequate base preparation. The pavers were removed. the base enforced and the pavers reset.

We even searched until we found Wavy Light Fixtures and Wavy Hardware!

Here is a frontal view of Flash - the laughing horse. She lived a long, happy life on the plains of North Dakota. One evening, she failed to come home. The owners found her remains many months later. Only her skull was left. The kept it as a memento. It was an honor to be asked to create this homage to her.
