Designed by Risa Boyer and built by Hammer & Hand, this comprehensive external and internal remodel updated the home with an open layout featuring clean, modern stylings throughout and custom cabinetry by Ben Klebba of Phloem Studio. The team transformed a dark side room into a luminous sunroom overlooking Oswego Lake, designed to highlight a large stained glass window created by the homeowner’s family. A new enclosed garden breezeway connects the house to the freestanding garage, where H&H added a creative work space.

We collaborated with THESIS Studio and JHL Design on this expansive remodel of a 1920s Tudor home near NE Alberta. This ambitious remodel included reconfiguring the first floor, adding a dining room/sunroom off the kitchen, transforming the second floor into a master suite, and replacing nearly all finishes in the home. The unique fixtures, rich color palette, whimsical wallpaper, and clever design details combine to create a modern fairy tale while letting the home’s historic character shine. Located on the pristine Glenn Lake in Eureka, Montana, Robertson Lake House was designed for a family as a summer getaway. The design for this retreat took full advantage of an idyllic lake setting. With stunning views of the lake and all the wildlife that inhabits the area it was a perfect platform to use large glazing and create fun outdoor spaces.
