There are two pairs of Evening Song duet at opposing ends of this breezeway. My clients wanted "screen doors like my grandmother had, only with birds". The breezeway perfectly links the historic home to its addition. Another stellar project by Clayton/Little architects.

Party Palace - Custom Ranch on Acreage in Ridgefield Washington by Cascade West Development Inc.
The peaceful parental oasis that was well deserved for this hardworking household consists of many luxurious details, some obvious and some not so much. First a little extra insulation in the walls, in the efforts of sound-dampening, silence goes a long way in the search for serenity. A personal fireplace with remote control makes sleeping in on chilly winter weekends a dream come true. Last, but certainly not least is the Master Bath. A stone surround enclave with an elevated soaker tub, bay window and hidden flat-screen tv are the centerpiece here. The enclave is flanked by double vanities, each with separate countertops and storage (marble and custom milled respectively) so daily routines are a breeze. The other highlights here include a full tile surround walk-in shower with separate wall-mounted shower heads and a central rainfall faucet. Lastly an 8 person sauna can be found just off the master bath, with a jacuzzi just outside. These elements together make a day relaxing at home almost indiscernible from a day at the spa.

A modern screen porch beautifully links this Wellesley home to its Garden. Extending overhangs that are clad in red cedar emphasize the indoor – outdoor connection and keep direct sun out of the interior. The grey granite floor pavers extend seamlessly from the inside to the outside. A custom designed steel truss with stainless steel cable supports the roof. The insect screen is black nylon for maximum transparency.

The layout of this bathroom was reconfigured by locating the new tub on the rear wall, and putting the toilet on the left of the vanity.
The wall on the left of the existing vanity was taken out.

The waterfall counter is the main feature for this bar area. With it being highlighted in strip lighting below, it creates an ambiance while accenting this beautiful bar feature off of the kitchen.

This 1906 single floor bungalow in Mobile, Alabama was restored to showcase Phantom’s window, door and motorized screens. They wanted to bring together the home’s indoor and outdoor living space and make it comfortable year round in Alabama’s changing climate.
Phantom’s screens were added to each window and door, allowing homeowners to control the sunlight and breeze that enters the indoor and outdoor living spaces without letting in bugs or debris. It was even possible to turn the porch into an ‘inside room’ contained from the elements, by lowering Phantom’s clear vinyl motorized screens. The screens blend in seamlessly with heritage home’s design and can be easily retracted out of sight when not in use.
“They blend seamlessly in with the window and not detract from the beauty so we were able to preserve the old look and feel of the window yet add in the modern convenience of a retractable screen.”
- Esther de Wolde, CEO, Phantom Screens

Motorized, retractable Phantom Executive screens transform patios and porches into comfortable and welcoming outdoor living spaces. These motorized screens from The Shade Shop retract to be out-of-sight and out-of-mind until you decide you want to utilize them. When the summer sun feels a little harsh, put your solar mesh screens down with the touch of a button to shield the UV rays. Alternately, choose the insect mesh to allow for natural ventilation, while still keeping those pesky mosquitoes from entering your outdoor oasis.
