In the primary bedroom, our focus was on creating a space that felt both elevated and
comfortable with a masculine edge. We brightened the room with a dynamic abstract wallpaper
mural, introducing movement and visual depth. The large existing mirror was repositioned
between the windows to expand the sense of scale, making the room feel even more spacious.
Leather seating and a bench add strength and richness, while the channeled upholstered bed
and plush bedding soften the overall feel. Updated wood flooring, new nightstands, and a
custom built-in infuse warmth and ground the space in natural elements. A plush area rug
provides comfort underfoot, while woven window treatments add texture and complement the
darker tones in the wallpaper.
The design carefully balances black and gray tones with bright accents to maintain an airy feel.
Gold finishes and mixed metals were layered throughout, tying into the home’s broader design
palette. A new ceiling fan with wood-toned blades harmonizes with the natural elements and
furnishings. The result is a bedroom that feels polished, grounded, and richly layered with
materials and textures.

Six years after completing a large-scale renovation for one of our favourite repeat clients, they decided it was time to upgrade the primary suite. This bathroom had been left out of the first phase as it was in good condition, just lacking style.
For our longtime clients, the bathroom isn’t just a functional space—it’s a sanctuary. In this renovation, we created an atmosphere that is truly serene and feminine, infused with effortless coastal elegance to create a place for our client to retreat, unwind and release the tensions of everyday life. No need to go to the spa anymore…
A freestanding soaking tub takes center stage, framed by delicate sheer drapery that billows gently in the breeze. Soft, sun-washed tones, organic textures, and refined details transform this space into a spa-like escape, perfect for unwinding after a long day.

This bathroom brings together bold handmade navy tile, a striking triple sink on a custom wood base, and a freestanding tub framed by natural light. Crisp cabinetry, layered textures, and thoughtful accents complete the design, balancing practicality with refined style. A modern space infused with warmth, it reflects Studio Voltaire’s signature blend of European elegance and New England craftsmanship.

This full home mid-century remodel project is in an affluent community perched on the hills known for its spectacular views of Los Angeles. Our retired clients were returning to sunny Los Angeles from South Carolina. Amidst the pandemic, they embarked on a two-year-long remodel with us - a heartfelt journey to transform their residence into a personalized sanctuary.
Opting for a crisp white interior, we provided the perfect canvas to showcase the couple's legacy art pieces throughout the home. Carefully curating furnishings that complemented rather than competed with their remarkable collection. It's minimalistic and inviting. We created a space where every element resonated with their story, infusing warmth and character into their newly revitalized soulful home.

When we met this family of 5 (months from being a family of 6!), their first floor felt outdated and disconnected. They dreamed of a space that felt light and airy, yet infused with rich, earthy materials to create warmth and add bold character. More than just a refresh, they needed a functional layout that worked for everyday life—cooking, laundry, entertaining friends, and even unwinding with a cocktail at the end of the day.
Extending the kitchen into the morning room seating area enhanced both flow and functionality, while a spacious island became the heart of the home—ideal for casual family meals, meal prep, and hosting friends. A dedicated beverage station with a sink, refrigeration, and an awning window for indoor-outdoor entertaining allows for an effortless transition from morning routines to afternoon snacks on the patio.
The laundry room was designed with designated storage for all four kids, creating an organized and functional space. It also serves as a practical landing zone when entering the home, seamlessly extending the light and airy theme with thoughtful design details and playful touches.

Located in San Rafael's sunny Dominican neighborhood, this East Coast-style brown shingle needed an infusion of color and pattern for a young family. Against the white walls in the combined entry and living room, we mixed mid-century silhouettes with bold blue, orange, lemon, and magenta shades. The living area segues to the dining room, which features an abstract graphic patterned wall covering. Across the way, a bright open kitchen allows for ample food prep and dining space. Outside we painted the poolhouse ombre teal. On the interior, we echoed the same fun colors of the home.

This basement bathroom infuses both modern and traditional design elements to create a timeless look. The custom vanity with its asymmetrical design and slab door profile is modern, designed to offer both hidden and open storage. The walnut veneer shelf adds a layer of warmth to the monochromatic colour scheme. Rectangular marble floor tile is set in a traditional brick pattern, transitioning into the traditional basket weave patterned marble mosaic found along the base of the shower. Elongated ceramic subway tile is installed in a modern vertical pattern versus the traditional horizontal format. This also helps create the illusion of higher ceiling height. Curvature is introduced in the plumbing fixtures, light pendant, mirror and hardware pulls to soften the linear lines of the larger bathroom features. A beautiful design of simplicity and functionality.

This dining room radiates timeless charm with a blend of sophisticated and welcoming elements. At its heart is a rustic wooden dining table, paired with upholstered chairs in soft neutral tones that invite long, lingering meals. Overhead, a cascading glass chandelier becomes a breathtaking focal point, infusing the space with understated glamour. Twin framed landscape artworks evoke a sense of calm and nostalgia, while a tall fiddle-leaf fig in a woven basket adds an organic touch, bringing life to the room. The grasscloth wallpaper wraps the space in subtle texture, perfectly complementing the natural light that filters through Roman shades, creating a warm and serene ambiance.

A layered Old Brookville living room where soft neutrals meet playful color. A gray sofa anchors the space, accented with turquoise butterfly pillows that add vibrancy and charm. Blue and white ombré sheers frame views of the lush backyard, infusing the room with light and a sense of calm. The result is a space that feels both refined and inviting—a hallmark of Bespoke Design NY’s quiet luxury approach.

Glamorous. Refined. Luxurious. Kid-friendly? Indeed! In fact, this Michigan Avenue weekend retreat is home-away-from-home for a family of six, including four young children. Still, serenity and sophistication reign, thanks to a rich array of shimmering, shining, glossy, glassy surfaces, from subtly patterned fabrics that disguise peanut butter and jelly fingerprints to luminous accents that cast an urbane glow as the sunsets over the Lake Michigan sky. Mostly-neutral interiors are energized by strategic pops of color; custom architectural embellishments infuse additional character. Floor plan modifications ensure expansive sightlines throughout, and accentuate skyline views.

This quiet and calming space for guests is infused with colors from throughout the rest of the home.

This primary bathroom renovation focused on optimizing the space and creating a truly relaxing retreat. We began by completely gutting the existing bathroom and re-evaluating the floor plan to maximize functionality.
To infuse the space with personality, we incorporated a vibrant color palette, playful patterns, and unique finishes. The result is a spa-like oasis that perfectly reflects the client's vision and enhances their daily routine.

This open-concept space effortlessly combines the kitchen, dining, and family room into a harmonious hub of modern living. A sleek black dining table serves as the centerpiece of the dining area, surrounded by plush, textured chairs that invite lingering conversations and shared meals. The kitchen’s clean lines are complemented by matte black pendant lights and warm wood accents, creating a balance of modernity and warmth. Bright natural light streams through black-framed windows, highlighting the crisp white cabinetry and artfully styled countertops. Thoughtful touches, like the statement chandelier, coastal inspired art, and layered textures of rugs and fabrics, infuse the space with both comfort and refinement, making it ideal for everything from quiet mornings to lively gatherings.

This new Lake Minnetonka custom home was designed for a young growing family that decided to trade uptown Minneapolis condo life for lake living. Located on a narrow 40-foot-wide lot, this 2,850sf modern home provides a strong connection to the lake while also balancing privacy from the neighbors. The main level comprises a three-car tandem garage and public living spaces, the upper level consists of private spaces while the finished basement serves as a flexible space.
High performance triple pane European windows were strategically placed to frame views of the lake while interior facing windows were placed to frame tree and sky views. A stone clad fireplace acts as a spatial anchor that helps define the interior spaces as well as encourages the transition from interior to exterior spaces. Future solar panel conduits to the roof were installed as were EV charging stations in the garage and at the dock for future EV boat charging. Site water runoff is managed through an underground retention system.
The exterior cement board siding is painted black to recede into the landscape while accents of thermally modified wood, custom steel slats and stone add visual interest at the street and lake facing sides. The interior material palette is purposefully simple and consists of stained white oak flooring, ebony stained white oak cabinetry and millwork, white quartz counters, powder coated steel railings and stone veneer. The final result is a vibrant home for this young family that infuses warmth with a modern aesthetic.

The 1 000SF, two bed and two bath condo was a true fixer-upper with outdated finishes and a floor plan that needed refinement. The suite was gutted down to concrete and studs, taking down several walls in the process. The design was influenced by the character and materials of a converted New York loft, and using the vernacular West Coast Modern language, it was infused with warm wood accents, exposed concrete, and framed views of the North Shore mountains.

To infuse a pop of color into the overall design, we took cues from the client's cherished art piece of cherry blossoms they bought in Napa, CA, which boasts captivating shades of ruby red. With a keen eye for balance, we introduced vibrant ruby-red counter stools, beautifully complementing the neutral tones of the space.
This careful integration of color, along with the subtle gold accents and the chandeliers' soft bubbles, not only adds personality but also serves as a delightful reminder of the beauty of cherry blossoms and the cherished memories associated with the art piece.
We are proud to have brought this vision to life and to have created a space where our client can unwind and embrace the tranquil spirit of ocean living while cherishing the essence of cherry blossoms. It has been a pleasure to be a part of this project, and we look forward to continuing to create inspiring spaces that reflect the unique tastes and desires of our clients.
