Inspiration for a transitional dark wood floor playroom remodel in Boston with white walls

This project was not only full of many bathrooms but also many different aesthetics. The goals were fourfold, create a new master suite, update the basement bath, add a new powder bath and my favorite, make them all completely different aesthetics. Primary Bath-This was originally a small 60SF full bath sandwiched in between closets and walls of built-in cabinetry that blossomed into a 130SF, five-piece primary suite. This room was to be focused on a transitional aesthetic that would be adorned with Calcutta gold marble, gold fixtures and matte black geometric tile arrangements. Powder Bath-A new addition to the home leans more on the traditional side of the transitional movement using moody blues and greens accented with brass. A fun play was the asymmetry of the 3-light sconce brings the aesthetic more to the modern side of transitional. My favorite element in the space, however, is the green, pink black and white deco tile on the floor whose colors are reflected in the details of the Australian wallpaper. Hall Bath-Looking to touch on the home's 70's roots, we went for a mid-mod fresh update. Black Calcutta floors, linear-stacked porcelain tile, mixed woods and strong black and white accents. The green tile may be the star but the matte white ribbed tiles in the shower and behind the vanity are the true unsung heroes.

Mid-sized transitional 3/4 gray tile, white tile and marble tile vinyl floor and gray floor corner shower photo in Boston with shaker cabinets, white cabinets, a two-piece toilet, gray walls, an undermount sink, quartzite countertops and a hinged shower door

This gorgeous two-story master bathroom features a spacious glass shower with bench, wide double vanity with custom cabinetry, a salvaged sliding barn door, and alcove for claw-foot tub. The barn door hides the walk in closet. The powder-room is separate from the rest of the bathroom. There are three interior windows in the space. Exposed beams add to the rustic farmhouse feel of this bright luxury bathroom. Eric Roth

This whole house remodel included a kitchen & 3 baths for a young growing family. They were going for a transitional style with a coastal twist. The kitchen was designed using Fieldstone Cabinetry with a light-colored perimeter and a darker island for contrast. A 24x30 prefab garage with 9' high walls and an enclosed 10' lean-to. This Waterbury Center, VT garage was built with white pine tongue and groove siding painted with red paint by Haley Paint Company. It has 9 pitch engineered attic trusses and architectural shingle roof with GAF Timberline HD (Hunter Green Color) shingles. The installed windows are 24"x24" Andersen Silverline awning windows with screens allowing air to flow through the garage. It has 9x7 non-insulated SRP garage doors with windows by General Door Corporation and a loft door with transom window by J&N Structures. The wood gable vent was built by J&N Structures. Up top of this garage, we added a B-37 cupolas by Creative Cupolas. The foundation is a concrete pad by the customer.
