Fish & Beatrice purchased this 1980’s home and wanted to update the feel and look, starting with the master bathroom. The bathroom was oddly shaped. The shower had a bump-out that made the shower smaller and there was wasted space behind the entry door. The dated lighting and the wasted space created dull and dark pockets. The room had great bones but lacked in design. Meeting with them, we learned that they wanted a classic modern style bathroom that was open and clean. We went to the drawing board and started collaborating on a design that we all loved. In the shower we removed the bump-out, increasing the shower floor plan. We also took the shower wall tile to the ceiling. By doing this the shower visually looked larger and custom. By using two different shower wall tiles we created a soft juxtaposition of the soft and hard textures. We used a fabric tile for the shower side walls. This tile is Touch Snow from Arizona Tile. The back wall tile is from Monterrey Tile called Stone Mood Silver. These two tiles together create a calming effect as you noticed the creamy vein of the stone, compliments the Linen texture of the fabric. To compliment the walls, this pebble from Arizona Tile shows an array of colors that contrast and enhance the look.

Proving that every home can be beautiful, regardless of size, style or budget...this master bedroom used carefully selected products from budget-friendly sources. Bold colors and use of texture create an inviting and beautiful bed, all without breaking the bank. The ample use of color helps reflect the youth of the couple, while the tailored and structured styling of the bed and tufted chairs add sophistication and a casual maturity. Tall ceilings were accented with the use of tall mirrors behind the nightstands and through floor-to-ceiling red drapes (in production during photos). Although there is ample natural light, there was no ceiling lighting. A modern ceiling fan with a drum-style light kit was added. The mirrors also serve to amplify the side lamps in the evening. A sitting area for relaxing, reading, and retreat was added with an area rug to balance the room with color and scale.

The vanity mirrors are the coolest part of this master bath. If you look closely, you’ll notice the center mirror panel is a slightly darker color than the two outside panels. The center panel actually has a TV behind it. We placed the special mirror in front of the TV to create the effect you see here. Toe-kick LED lighting comes from below these beautiful cabinets from Accent Cabinets.

This gorgeous master bathroom features a vanity from Brighton Cabinetry with Laporte doors and Maple Hingham finish. The countertops are Cambria Berwyn quartz. The tile is ceramic.

You’ll also notice the neon LED lights at the toe kick, under the glass sink, and in the toilet bowl. These neat lights can be changed to any color of the spectrum and are motion-sensored for midnight bathroom breaks. Sweet! Final photo by www.impressia.net

Photography by Gavin Peters This luxury master bathroom was created by taking the original builder grade design down to the studs, and reconfiguring the space plan to allow for this generous glass shower, freestanding tub and oversized double vanity. The aesthetic is rooted in classical design but has elements of contemporary flair, including the vivid aqua walls and quartz solid surface countertop and shower accents. Many hours were spent planning every detail, from the tile selections all the way down to the width of sconces needed to create this flawless design. This is truly one of the most beautiful bathrooms in Wichita.

As the light from the afternoon sun shines in from the patio door, the subtle stitching in the bedding, the sheen of the fabrics, and the grain in the weathered sliding door become noticeably charming details to the master suite.

The vaulted ceiling, layout of room and natural stone throughout make this a truly breathtaking master bathroom. The stone floor has a "chiseled" edge and is laid in a unique pattern.
