While the addition of the second floor to this existing ranch involved an extensive amount of work, the existing first floor remained largely unchanged other than interior modifications to the kitchen, dining room, and entry. While all the windows in the house were replaced, the challenge to this project was integrating the new second floor windows, roofline, and details to make the house feel as if it has been there for 100 years.

This project was a complete renovation on the interior, but we also made some exterior modifications as well. Home was originally full brick, we converted the garage to a Master suite and finished the new living space with stone on the exterior. Also we added the turret entry which is connected to the new mud room. The mud room is located at the original front porch.
