Smith & Sons Riccardon worked wonders turning this compact bathroom space into a smart modern space.
A careful rework of the space included opting for a walk in shower over a traditional screen or dome style shower which makes this bathroom more spacious and functional.
The white oval sink on top of a natural wood vanity provide a central focus and a hint of Scandanavian tones whilst the hexagonal floor and shower patterns add interest against the large wall tiles.

These beautiful oval pivot mirrors are not only functional but also showcase the cararra marble on the wall. Unique glass pendants are a dramatic addition to the space as is the ikat wallpaper in the WC. To finish out the vanity space we added a shallow white upper cabinet for additional storage.

For a dark contrast, glass antique moss brick tile in Whisper Grey and Charcoal colors were used on the shower wall.
A niche with glass shelves neatly holds the soaps.
Kohler traditional rain head Bancroft handshower and body sprays add the spa like feel.

Structural Remodeling
Franklin County's Heavy Timber Specialists | Best of Houzz 2020!

No structure is better suited to water than a ship, which was the inspiration for this waterfront home. The Sunny Slope is an imaginative addition, providing stunning views and three floors of living space, all within a charming shingle-style design.
Connected to the main house by a glass-covered walkway, this addition functions as an autonomous home, complete with its own kitchen, dining room, sitting areas and four bedroom suites.
Oval windows, multi-level decks, and a fourth-story “crow’s nest” are just a few of the home’s ship-like design elements.

Aeon Furniture Brockton Round Dining Table in Natural Oak
The mid-century scandinavian design of aeon's brockton round dining table is not only characteristically simple and functional but exudes an aesthetic beauty as well. The brocton's 4-legged center frame is expertly crafted from solid american white oak. Its 47" round veneered wood 18 mm thick top reveals an inviting starburst design that evokes a calming effect, further enhancing your dining experience. The brockton-round comfortably seats up to 6 guests.

A builder grade bathroom gets a major upgrade. The client was amazing as she did this remodel while having a torn Achilles tendon while she was in a boot before and after surgery all while her husband was out of town for work. This prompted the request for a large, curbless shower with a barn door. We removed the dated unused corner tub to expand the shower and added a bench under the window for additional storage. The vanity got a functional make-over with better storage for toiletries. His and hers pull-outs and drawers provided ample space. The traditional fixtures blend with the more contemporary tile and color pallet giving the bathroom an elegant soothing feel.

This nursery began in an empty white-box room with incredible natural light, the challenge being to give it warmth and add multi-functionality. Through floral motifs and hints of gold, we created a boho glam room perfect for a little girl. We played with texture to give depth to the soft color palette. The upholstered crib is convertible to a toddler bed, and the daybed can serve as a twin bed, offering a nursery that can grow with baby. The changing table doubles as a dresser, while the hanging canopy play area serves as a perfect play and reading nook.

Our clients, a couple with four children, wanted to update their 1952 home with a mid-century feel, focusing on the main floor. The renovation emphasized enhancing finishes, optimizing storage, and maximizing seating in the dining and living areas. The entryway was designed to be inviting and practical, while the living room featured a statement sectional and a stunning terrazzo fireplace. The kitchen and dining area were transformed to be both functional and elegant, with playful touches like “Drunk Monkeys” wallpaper in the powder room.

LILLY PULITZER HOME EXCLUSIVELY FOR GARNET HILL
So happy together: retro-inspired Lilly prints and combed long-staple Egyptian cotton percale. Each mix-and-matchable pattern has its own inimitable style but complements the others perfectly — just like sisters!

This lovely beach cabin was completely remodeled to add more space and make it a bit more functional. Many vintage pieces were reused in keeping with the vintage of the space. We carved out new space in this beach cabin kitchen, bathroom and laundry area that was nonexistent in the previous layout. The original drainboard sink and gas range were incorporated into the new design as well as the reused door on the small reach-in pantry. The white tile countertop is trimmed in nautical rope detail and the backsplash incorporates subtle elements from the sea framed in beach glass colors. The client even chose light fixtures reminiscent of bulkhead lamps.
The bathroom doubles as a laundry area and is painted in blue and white with the same cream painted cabinets and countertop tile as the kitchen. We used a slightly different backsplash and glass pattern here and classic plumbing fixtures.

A typical product of the mid 80s, before its transformation, this St. Louis home was largely devoid character and detail.
An early primary objective of the client was to transform the lackluster foyer into an impressive appetizer of things to come inside the now-grand home.
An upmarket Art Deco-inspired light fixture with cascading fluted glass tubes arranged around a brass frame replaces a common low-quality Big Box affair. The fixture emits a serviceable, but subtle warm skin-flattering glow.
To encapsulate the space and make a grand first impression, walls are elevated with distinctive, dimensional wallcoverings with authentic metallic leafing on horsehair panels. A simple, but striking bench with tufted ebony leather and curved brass legs offers plentiful and functional seating.
The oval console with sensual brass legs and a honed marble top, soften the space’s angles.
An iconic, arch-topped, vintage-inspired brass mirror intentionally contrasts with the modern space adding a splash of femininity.
The delicate buffet lamp offers old world charm, while the rug is weather resistant to help contain the detritus of real-family living.
