A historic, rambling country estate gets a new kitchen, butler's pantry, bar, built-in desk and built-in TV cabinet. Elegant finishes and a few rustic touches help to fit this project into the original 1710 setting. Cabinetry is a beaded inset door in a mix of a hand glazed white stained finish and a furniture-type of burnished finish that is distressed but still has a sheen to it. The main countertops are honed Taj Mahal quartzite. The desk top matches the island cabinetry and the bar top is copper which has a lovely patina to it. The kitchen features a flush inset Sub Zero installation and a flush inset Wolf wall oven installation. The hood is a custom stainless piece with brass strapping. The glass door cabinets feature light roping that tucks in behind the face frames. The whole project is exquisitely decorated and accessorized. Designed by Jim & Erin Cummings of Shore & Country Kitchens.

This 1940's beach cottage has been renovated to include the orginal floors, doors and vintage glass door knobs. The owner collaborated with Terri Dubose @ Woodsman Kitchens and Floors. The combination of navy and white inset furniture grade cabinets with the white marbled quartz top, subway tile, ship lap, shutters and brass accents all complete this classic coastal style.

A new twist on subway tile incorporates thin accent tiles. Shallow counter and custom cabinets make the most use of storage in this small galley kitchen.

Closeup off white cabinets with glaze lines/pin striping. These cabinets were originally Oak with deep wood grain. As you can see from this picture, cabinets now have a factory smooth finish. We go through an extensive process of sealing the grain to ensure this ultra smooth finish.

Inspiration for an industrial kitchen remodel in Toronto

Shaker style cabinetry with a modern flair. Painted cabinetry with the warmth of stained quartersawn oak accents and stainless steel drawer fronts. Thick two toned butcher block on the island makes a great focal point and the built in seating nook is very cozy. We also created some custom details for the family pets like hidden gates at the doorway and comfortable beds with screened doors.
