We worked on several finishes before we arrived at a solution acceptable to the client, and it came out very well in this application. Photos submitted by homeowner.

A refresh was also needed for this bathroom. We removed a tub suround and gave the homeowner's a beautiful tub with a darker tiled surround. The white of the tub pops off the darker brown and tan color tones of the tile. The India Brown Granite looks as if it was made for this tile. Mike Kaskel

This light filled transitional kitchen is located in New Providence New Jersey. The kitchen was designed by Rebecca of Robinwood Kitchens and features white shaker Plain & Fancy cabinetry on the perimeter of the kitchen and Plain & Fancy’s Green Tea shaker cabinetry on the island. The cabinets were finished with Top Knobs’ Ascendra Pulls in honey bronze. Silestone Calcatta Gold quartz was chosen for the countertop and Tilebar Manchester Bianco ceramic subway tile was chosen for the backsplash. The homeowner chose Jennair for the cooktop, wall oven and refrigerator, a Bosch dishwasher and XO beverage center. Other exciting features of this kitchen are the 36-inch farmhouse sink and side-by-side pantry cabinets. This project also included the removal of the wall between the kitchen and dining room and widening the entry from the front hall.

A dated kitchen transformed into a stunning modern farmhouse style kitchen using custom cabinet refacing in a care-free, easy to clean white thermofoil and a unique "stepped" shaker style door. The countertops are SileStone Charcoal Soapstone Quartz in their Suede finish...the look and beauty of real soapstone without the worry of stains and discoloration. The homeowner chose oil rubbed bronze cabinet hardware and faucet. They completed this modern look with a copper farmhouse sink. The unique ceiling brings beautiful lighting to the space no matter what time of day. A touch of shiplap paneling on the back of the peninsula ties the rooms together. Up to date stainless steel appliances make this a kitchen for friends and family to gather together.

This collection, light and airy colors are inspired by everything coastal: shifting sands, wooden boardwalks, starry skies, moonlit nights, and ocean mist. Hexagon shapes, while suggesting floors from the era of bungalows, are a new, appealing trend. Combinations of materials are fresh and exciting: stone looks with opalescence and pearl; squares of glitzy jewels set against a sophisticated black; contemporary rectangles of sparkly black and bronze; and copper and gold wood grains paired with rich brown glass.

When this suburban family decided to renovate their kitchen, they knew that they wanted a little more space. Advance Design worked together with the homeowner to design a kitchen that would work for a large family who loved to gather regularly and always ended up in the kitchen! So the project began with extending out an exterior wall to accommodate a larger island and more moving-around space between the island and the perimeter cabinetry. Style was important to the cook, who began collecting accessories and photos of the look she loved for months prior to the project design. She was drawn to the brightness of whites and grays, and the design accentuated this color palette brilliantly with the incorporation of a warm shade of brown woods that originated from a dining room table that was a family favorite. Classic gray and white cabinetry from Dura Supreme hits the mark creating a perfect balance between bright and subdued. Hints of gray appear in the bead board detail peeking just behind glass doors, and in the application of the handsome floating wood shelves between cabinets. White subway tile is made extra interesting with the application of dark gray grout lines causing it to be a subtle but noticeable detail worthy of attention. Suede quartz Silestone graces the countertops with a soft matte hint of color that contrasts nicely with the presence of white painted cabinetry finished smartly with the brightness of a milky white farm sink. Old melds nicely with new, as antique bronze accents are sprinkled throughout hardware and fixtures, and work together unassumingly with the sleekness of stainless steel appliances. The grace and timelessness of this sparkling new kitchen maintains the charm and character of a space that has seen generations past. Repurposed hall closet turns into the family drop. The beautiful gray oak shelves hold family photos and heirlooms, wicker baskets hold kids snacks, shoes, purses and the drawers hold additional personal family items and the charging station on top finish this super functional space.
