One of our favourite rooms to design is a home office with lots of built-in cabinetry. We love finding out just what motivates and inspires our clients who work at home and we relish custom designing the perfect space for them. This office, located just inside the garage door entrance of the home had to double as a mudroom so while one side of the room houses two workstations and a combination of open and closed storage, the other side offers additional closet space for coats and bags as well as a bench for putting on your shoes. Bedroom - transitional bedroom idea in New York

Before we redesigned the basement of this charming but compact 1950's North Vancouver home, this space was an unfinished utility room that housed nothing more than an outdated furnace and hot water tank. Since space was at a premium we recommended replacing the furnace with a high efficiency model and converting the hot water tank to an on-demand system, both of which could be housed in the adjacent crawl space. That left room for a generous laundry room conveniently located at the back entrance of the house where family members returning from a mountain bike ride can undress, drop muddy clothes into the washing machine and proceed to shower in the bathroom just across the hall. Closer look of the open shower of the Master Bathroom. Shower pan is Emser Riviera pebble tile, in a four color blend. Shower walls are Bedrosians Barrel 8x48" tile in Harvest, installed in a vertical offset pattern. The exterior wall of the open shower is custom patchwork wood cladding, enclosed by exposed beams. Robe hooks on the back wall of the shower are Delta Dryden double hooks in brilliance stainless. Master bathroom flooring and floor base is 12x24" Bedrosians, from the Simply collection in Modern Coffee, flooring is installed in an offset pattern. Ceiling is painted in Sherwin Williams "Kilim Beige."
