Objective: With adult children, large families, and a growing number of grandchildren, creating a serene, calm and elegant space was needed. Solution: White and gold palette, mirror, soft leather, plush carpet, elegant wallpaper, antique chandelier, all combined created a collected, yet subdued space to set away from all the chaos of a busy home. Large windows, white trim, a high gloss painted ceiling, custom art piece, a re-purposed dresser- again all textured elements that layered together softness and elegance.

A Classic curated designed Great Room was paramount to incorporate natural elements to contrast the minimalist interior. To the end, the overall palette is subdued: white, gold, and taupe incorporating organic wood grained furnishings. We took our client's wishes for a modern, sophisticated environment in which to gather with family and friends for casual conversations for years to come.

The kitchen cabinetry was in excellent condition but it was dark. Experts from Factory Finish Kitchens were brought in to professionally repaint the cabinets white and the island was repainted a striking black. The backsplash was replaced with marble herringbone tiles and there are now two different quartz counters (one statement counter for the island and a more subdued one for the perimeter). The floor tiles were replaced with the same tiles (different size) used on the new gas fireplace. As everywhere in the home, all the lighting was replaced with glamorous and unique fixtures.

Our client requested a secure room to store his rare and expensive firearms so, hidden behind a beautiful yet subdued sliding barn door, we crafted a structure with concrete walls and ceiling and bank vault door.

Creamy neutrals abound in this Bryn Mawr classic master bath renovation. A clever rearrangement, handsome cabinetry and borrowed space make all the difference in this room. The use of honed marble and cream cabinetry established the luxurious yet casual feel the homeowners were after. Mirrored cabinet fronts add visual interest and a bit of “pop and sparkle” to the subdued palette.
