A mudroom with custom built-in millwork, floating shelves and a bench that terminates to the back of the shelves. This functional space provides a place for this busy family to come in and out, hang their coats, store their shoes and other items they are bringing in.

As a part of the Sterling series from Kuzco Lighting, these LED fixtures are defined by simple geometric forms combined with luxurious surface treatment. The lit glass assembly terminates in finely perforated end caps, which diffuse and spread light upward or downward. Paired with a proportional square backplate the lamps are well suited to any setting.

The house was designed on a large curve terminating at an outdoor covered entertaining space complete with a gas fireplace.

Warm up any kitchen space with a mixture of stainless steel, travertine and several shades of glass tile in the Plymouth Stria Mix Mosaic. Use the stark gray porcelain of Termine Bone tile to cloud the schemes, while the Legno Monterrey blends the hues with a silver grey toned vein cut travertine tile cut.

One of the main challenges was the presence of an angled wall along the perimeter, which complicated the process of enlarging the kitchen island without obstructing movement. To overcome this, we modified the cabinetry layout. By straightening the cabinet run so that it terminated directly into the angled wall, we optimized the flow and functionality of the space. This adjustment not only improved circulation but also presented a new design challenge: where to stop the backsplash.

Matched vein-cut travertine paving covers the floor and seamlessly continues through the living room and out onto the exterior sundeck, terminating at the swimming pool which is completely bordered by travertine coping containing slots for drainage that allow the top edge of the pool’s water to become perfectly aligned with the top edge of the adjacent travertine paving, thus creating a level surface from the kitchen to the infinity edge of the pool.
