I recently did an extensive entire home refresh and couldn't have done it without the expertise of Sorell Interiors. Working with Doreen and Paul Sorell was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Starting with their recommendations for vendors and contractors, they were creative, professional and attentive to every detail. What I appreciated most was that they always listened to my ideas and genuinely considered my opinions throughout the entire process. They made me feel like a true partner in creating a space that reflected my style and needs. Their expertise, communication and dedication resulted in the most beautiful final product that exceeded my expectations. Doreen was a dream to work with! I've never hired an interior designer before so I didn't know what to expect. I started small and had her help me with this small space in my den that I didn't know what to do with and she suggested I turn it into a reading nook and it's me and my husband's favorite place in the house! Since then, I've hired her to guide me with my kitchen renovation (a bigger undertaking and a potentially stressful project that she made SEAMLESS), design my newborn daughter's Monet-inspired nursery, and my funky 80s vaporwave office. Also - she's got the best connections. I mentioned in passing I wanted to have my wood cabinet restained black and she knew someone to do that for me. My dining room chairs needed to be reupholstered and she had someone to do that too! She works with you in your price range and makes the impossible possible. She's the ultimate professional but also makes you feel like you've known her your whole life. There was an instant trust there. A repeat hire in my household that I can't recommend enough to anyone looking for an update or a redo.

I was looking to redecorate my entire house. What matters most to me when hiring someone to do work in my home is that they are competent, connect with me on my ideas and will do quality work professionally, at a fair price. And Doreen hit on ALL key points. It was funny, because Doreen was not the first Interior Designer I was thinking of hiring. My friend had originally referred me to a different local decorator she had used. But when we met, it just didn't feel right. So, I went back Google to find other options. And that's where, amongst several listings, I discovered Sorell Interiors. The website was professional and informative and her social media postings impressed, yet down-to-earth. When I met her, she was polite, honest, knowledgeable and took the time to both listen to me and answer all my questions. Within several days of our meeting, she sent me a very detailed Design Proposal, which reviewed her process and detailed every aspect of everything we talked about, how exactly she was going to help me achieve what I wanted and at approximately what cost. Who does that! I practically hired her on the spot. And it has been nothing but pure joy and pleasure working with her since. Her process is transparent and she's a wizard about working around my hectic family life and busy work schedule. The best part was that she took my ideas and pushed me beyond what "I" would have typically chosen, and I'm glad she did. The result is beautiful and stunning, far beyond my wildest dreams. And even my husband is happy. She was able to find furniture even he finds comfortable and all within our budget. She made finding the right trades for the work easy and painless. I think she knows just about someone, everywhere in every profession. They all provided me separate estimates and there were never any surprises. Thank you Doreen for remaking our home in a way that we all now so much love enjoy. I'm thankful for having found you.

Doreen makes the task of redoing a room, effortlessly. She has an amazing talent for putting color and furniture together. We have received many comments on how beautiful the room looks.
