“Wow, what team! True craftsmen!! Very professional and thorough. They took on a very tricky exterior/interior repair project on our custom midcentury modern house that multiple other contractors had turned down and they knocked it out of the park! I only wish we had used them for all of our renovation projects on the house. With renovations, "you get what you pay for" and Blok Builders' exceptional quality and professionalism are worth every penny!”

“Designing and building your first home is an emotionally rewarding experience but it can be challenging at times given the collaborative nature of the process and the steady stream of decisions that can have an impact on the budget. Having a builder you trust as well as like is essential to making the house-building experience a good one. My husband and I interviewed three builders recommended by our architect. We knew immediately that we wanted to work with VanderMeulen Builders (VMB), a three-generation family business with extensive experience in building high-quality homes in a variety of styles. Five years later, we know we made the right choice. We highly recommend VMB for a variety of reasons: 1) Everyone who works there is customer-service oriented; 2) Communication with the owners and employees is exceptionally professional at all times; 3) VMB has long-term working relationships with equally experienced subcontractors, which results in quality work and schedules being met; 4) Monthly billing affidavits are timely and comprehensive; 5) Meetings schedules are held on a regular basis at mutually convenient times and result in the desired outcomes; 6) Unexpected but inevitable challenges are handled professionally, quickly, and fairly; 7) The finished product is exceptional. We recommend VanderMeulen Builders unconditionally.”

Home Improvements by Tim Shaver

“Tim and his crew added a beautiful sun room to our home along with a two-tierd deck in 2005. This improvement has turned our home into something custom that we can be proud of. Tim has made many other improvements to our house, from finishing our basement to painting walls and helping with any miscellaneous home improvements that come along. I would recommend Tim to friends.”
