General Contractors Near Sea Isle City

“Pantall Construction built our house in Bethany Beach (Errett Rd). We tore down our older house and built a new one on the lot. After making the decision, we consulted with close to a dozen construction companies and contractor down in the area, including all of the major names. Pantall provided the best quality to value by far. We toured completed work sites for all of the partners we were considering and found the quality of Pantall's work to be top tier. Their construction was stronger (I was checking how sturdy rails and sconces were to my wife's embarrassment!) and their finishes were beautiful and clean. As we started discussing plans and options, Scott Pantall quickly won our trust as an experienced, honest, and fair professional. He did not try to up-sale for the sake of increasing his revenue. He, instead, listened to what we wanted, proposed options and solutions and let us decide what we wanted to do. After construction started, our trust in his ability to deliver our project was confirmed. It was also clear that Scott had done a great job embedding the right behaviors and skills for quality work in his team members. We were honestly surprised and impressed by how Scott and his team made the construction of a 4,400 sqft house from the ground up...easy and smooth. The project was delivered on time and as close to budget as we could have expected. His team did a great job cleaning the site post construction. When they say key-in-hand, they mean it. The best recommendation that I could give Pantall Construction and its owner, Scott, is that we are considering additional builds in the area, and we know that we do not need to shop around. We will go with Pantall and Scott.”

“I have used Matera builders before when I need a new entry door and for large sized "half-moon" windows. My last half moon window, which dates back 30 when my home was originally build, failed when the hermetic seal between the two panes of glass cracked and the window would fog up and condensation would occur leaving water dripping down betweeen the two panes of glass. My property has no protection from the ocean and related storms, hurricanes and wind-driven rain so I wanted to be sure I got a good product and have it installed by a good contractor. I used Materal twice before when other half-moon windows failed and I used them again when my most recent half moon window failed and need to be replaced. Rich and James were the ones who installed my new window and they were great. They showed up on time, were dressed appropriately and showed great respect for my property both inside and outside. They laid out drop cloths everywhere, worked the entire day and did a really good job with clean-up inside my home as well as on the outside. Living at the beach is nice but there are drawback which include wind driven rain as well as hurricanes so I wanted to hire a good contractor who is well versed on "shore living" and when Matera installs windows the go the extra mile to ensure thy don't leak as we all know the shore environment can be very unforgiving. I went with an Anderson widow and Matera is an authorized installer of Anderson products so I felt very comfortable in what i was buying and from whom. Both Rich and James did a really good job for me and I'm a happy camper and have ZERO complaints!! I would gladly use them again if I had a need for more replacement windows. When I scheduled this job I drove to Matera's location in Ocean City, NJ and the office staff was very friendly and helpful so I have no complaints about their home office either. Graig”

“I’m an architectural interior designer, specializing in kitchens and baths. My projects are located all over the United States. Needless to say, I’ve worked with countless contractors. I have very high standards and expect only quality work. It’s not often that I find a company who meets my expectations. Hawthorne Davis goes above and beyond the average. Their attention to detail, workmanship and site management are superior to what I’ve seen elsewhere. I would highly recommend them.”
