Restoration Hardware Arles dining table?

Does anyone have the Restoration Hardware Arles dining table? Would like to get feedback on how it's holding up, if it's good as an everyday dining table. I'm looking to get it in Grey Oak

The oak is beeswax finish and IMO not good if you have kids and daily use in a kitchen , a lovely finish but not for heavy use unless you keep it covered with a piece of glass

Thanks Patricia, good to know. I've read some nightmare reviews where people use a damp cloth to wipe down the table and it stripped the finish. However they never said which table or material they had, so I wasn't sure if this particular one was sealed or not.

I’m wondering if anyone has the gray walnut?? Apparently the new distributor puts a seam in all the walnut tables. I really wanted seamless 😭

KC can we see a pic? What chairs did you buy with it?

Also a little late to the thread, but we just bought the Arles in brown oak (84" extendable). If others have insight on how their's has held up I would love to know!

We ended up getting gray walnut in 96 not extendable. No issues for the 2 months we have had it.

    Hows your table looking now?

We are very careful with our table but it’s held up well. I wouldn’t recommend it for daily dining

Please let me know if anyone has the Black Arles RH table and if they find it holding up. I'm planning on ordering it this week. I will be using it on a regular basis, but, have no children. Thank you!

Following…anyone? Getting ready to pull the trigger on a black oak 108-152” extendable. Using in a formal dining room which will be used a handful of times per year. I found really good lookalike chairs from Wayfair that look very much like the Wexler barrelback chairs if anyone wants a link. RH chairs are back ordered until July or august!

Could you share how your Arles Table in oak is holding up? And what dupe RH chairs did you get from Wayfair?

Hi! We are looking into buying the Arles grey oak dining table and we’d be using it every day - also have 2 young kids. Would love to hear feedback on how the tables have held up from those who’ve had it for a while. Thank you!

Bumping this as looking at this table in Brown Walnet. Does anyone have any experience to share with this table in a daily use environment? The reviews that note wiping with a damp cloth will remove the finish are concerning.

I’m trying to choose a dining table for small space, and I keep going back and forth between round and rectangular.

Round tables feel easier in tight spaces because there are no sharp corners. They also seem better for conversation and can make a small dining area feel softer. But they may not always work well against a wall.

Rectangular tables seem more practical in narrow rooms because they can sit against a wall or fit along one side of the space. They may also be easier to pair with a bench if extra seating is needed.

Chair space and walking space probably matter more than the table shape alone. A table can look perfect in the room, but if the chairs are hard to pull out, it will not feel practical.

Which shape would you choose in a small dining area: round, rectangular, square, or something extendable?
