Inspiration for a contemporary medium tone wood floor and beige floor kitchen remodel in Vancouver with an island

Scout's motion sensor can be placed on a shelf or adhered to any wall or structure. The Scout access sensor can be placed on any door, window or cabinet that open and closes to track open and closes.

The new open kitchen area has all the modern bells and whistles while still adhering to the historic flavor of the home. Decorative plaster work was added to the range hood and coffered ceilings mirror the other rooms.

Project Objectives: Reconfigure the home layout for optimal use of space and natural light. Update all appliances, fixtures, and finishes to contemporary, eco-friendly alternatives. Implement smart technology for home automation and energy management. Enhance outdoor living areas for year-round enjoyment and aesthetic appeal. Ensure the remodel adheres to strict timelines, budgetary guidelines, and safety standards.

This rambler floor plan has unmatched functionality while adhering to an aesthetically appealing design. The seamless transition from the 12' ceilings in the great room to the 9’ ceilings in the dining room aid in the spacious, open-concept atmosphere of this home. The rift white oak drop down ceiling soffit in the great room, in addition to the Origin limestone fireplace and white oak wood flooring, adds warmth and texture to this modern design.

Our client for this project, a young owner of a newly purchased condo in the Ritz-Carlton Residences, asked us to furnish this corner unit as quickly and economically as possible to put it on the rental market. She wanted a modern and upscale looking interior in keeping with the Ritz brand as well as adhering to her tight budget. We swiftly combed the internet and our favorite showrooms and mobilized our workrooms and tradespeople to outfit the space within weeks of the purchase.

A complete demolition and reconfiguration of the kitchen, with particular attention to creating maximum storage space while adhering to budget constraints, produced this modern yet affordable solution for the owner.

This beautiful new home on the Big Eau Pleine Reservoir near Stratford sports a Mission Red stone-coated steel shingle by Metro, and the low-sloped workshop roof is thermoplastic membrane with the same red stone granules adhered using a red adhesive coating.

This new home is inspired by the Colonial architecture found in the region. Situated on a stunning site bordering wooded conservation land with towering oak and beech trees, the connection to nature is of paramount importance. While the main body of the house adheres to historical precedent, the rear of the house and the various wings open up to the surrounding landscape with multi-purpose spaces and monumental windows. A geothermal system provides the hot water, heating and cooling.

This outdoor kitchen project started with a welded-aluminum frame wrapped in HardieBacker cement board. HardieBacker is a board, sort of like drywall, that allows us to adhere many different finishes to the exterior of the frame. In this instance the customers chose stacked stone as their preferred finish. For a countertop, they opted for Fusion quartzite. Appliances include an Alfresco grill, True beverage center, and Scotsman nugget ice maker.
