This project transformed an underutilized space beneath our clients' modern residence into a functional and luxurious lower-level addition featuring a light-filled guest suite and exercise room. A new stairwell, framed by custom steel railings, connects the main floor to the lower level, enhancing visual flow and natural lighting while complementing the home's modern aesthetic. Polished concrete floors with radiant heating provide year-round comfort while the guest suite, with a luxury en suite bathroom including a steam shower, can also function as a home office. Large articulating Nanawall doors open the exercise room to the exterior, including a sauna room, and the built-in beverage station allows for quick refreshments. The project required innovative solutions to address structural constraints and property setbacks, including designing a code-compliant staircase within tight spatial limits, excavating a crawlspace to achieve full-height ceilings, and working around foundation walls to maximize usable space. By blending functionality, style, and attention to detail, this addition exceeded the clients' expectations, providing a cohesive, luxurious, and highly practical enhancement to their home.

The main bathroom at Lux on the Lake is pure serenity. A fluted freestanding tub sits beneath a soaring black steel window with wooded lake views, crowned by a glass bubble chandelier and served by an aged brass floor-mounted filler. Her floating white oak vanity pairs creamy marble with brass sconces and hardware, all atop herringbone oak floors. The showpiece: a marble-framed arched entry leading into a spa shower wrapped in glossy zellige herringbone tile, marble wainscoting, and a built-in bench. A daily retreat, designed to restore.

This newly designed lower-level entertainment space draws inspiration from geometric forms, blending modern sophistication with inviting warmth. The centerpiece is a sleek new wet bar featuring premium appliances, granite countertops, and fluted wood paneling that add depth and texture beneath polished nickel pendant lights. Rich leather brown bar stools complete the bar’s refined aesthetic, while bright white walls, custom angled moldings, and geometric wallpaper surrounding the 85” television create a crisp, airy backdrop that highlights the room’s architectural intent. Balancing luxury with comfort, the space introduces a striking gaming table with a concrete base, stone top, and protective custom glass cover, echoing the marble-like textures throughout. The luxury vinyl plank flooring grounds the room with warmth, while an 8-foot billiards table invites casual entertainment. A plush leather grey sofa paired with a swivel white chair anchors a cozy lounge area perfect for conversation or movie nights, making this geometry-inspired design both visually dynamic and functionally elegant.

To help make this family room in Wexford more functional and cohesive, we added new custom built-in storage around the brick fireplace. On the left side, an existing built-in was situated in between the fireplace and a small closet, which also contained a sink. We started by peeling away these elements to create a larger space. Adding symmetry to the room, we designed new cabinetry which included a mix of hidden and open shelf storage. Behind full-height pocketing doors on the left, a new wet bar with a tiled backsplash and quartz countertop. On the right, another set of pocketing doors conceals three large drawers, plus overflow toy storage for the adjacent playroom. Immediately flanking the fireplace, bookshelves provide a space to display favorite items with even more storage beneath. To balance the room’s rich wood tones and multi-tonal red brick, we helped the clients select a neutral color palette to make the space feel more relaxed. Complimentary colors and textures are added through the playful wallpaper lining the back of the shelves, and hexagon backsplash tile. A stylish new fireplace faceplate, gallery lighting, and cabinet hardware — each in a dark metal finish — help to tie everything together.

Four stories is a long way to travel, and this staircase makes every level count. Seattle-style steel stringers from the Prestige Metal line carry the structure with industrial honesty, not hidden behind walls but celebrated as part of the design. Vertical metal bars reinforce that rhythm, while riserless white oak treads appear to float as they rise, light and shadow playing beneath them at every turn. The oak elements do more than add warmth, they add an organic balance. A white oak handrail caps the metal balustrade, and the shift from steel to wood under your hand transforms the daily climb into something quietly pleasant. This harbor-side property is a conceived as a modern, shingle-style lodge. The four-bedroom house comprises two pavilions connected by a bridge that creates an entrance which frames views of Sag Harbor Bay. The interior layout has been carefully zoned to reflect the family's needs. The great room creates the home’s social core combining kitchen, living and dining spaces that give onto the expansive terrace and pool beyond. A more private, wood-paneled rustic den is housed in the adjoining wing beneath the master bedroom suite.

Craig & Chad are both professionals in the realm of design – fashion & detail. Our collaboration proved to be a fun challenge that resulted in a kitchen renovation with two bathrooms. Their main bathroom featured above makes great use of space with the addition of built in cabinetry, a wall niche, and storage beneath the sink. It also features a unique tile floor pattern from Centura with wood accents and herringbone patterns, which corresponds nicely with the black accents. Central El Paso Backyard Renovation: Fifteen years is a long time for a backyard to quietly wait. At first, it was full of intention—a pool that promised summers, laughter, and long evenings. But time has a way of settling in. The water turned still, then green. Edges cracked. The space became less of a destination and more of something you looked past. Life moved forward, but the backyard stayed behind. Then came the decision: it was time. Not a patch job. Not a quick fix. A complete reset. The transformation didn’t begin beautifully—it began with demolition. The old pool was drained, exposing years of neglect etched into its surface. Crews stepped in, breaking, clearing, reshaping. What once held stagnant water became an open cavity of possibility. Steel rebar formed a new skeleton, precise and intentional. Every line measured. Every elevation reconsidered. This wasn’t just construction—it was rethinking how the space should live. The shell was rebuilt. Surfaces were refined. Plumbing, structure, and flow were corrected at their core. What had once been outdated and failing was now engineered to last. Then the shift happened. Hardscape came in—clean, warm-toned concrete replacing worn decking. Stone walls, once just boundaries, were elevated into features. Subtle textures, intentional lines. A visual language that matched the architecture of the home instead of competing with it. The pool returned—but not as it was. Now it was sharp, modern, and inviting. A long, clean body of water with a shallow tanning ledge that catches the sun just right. Stainless steel scuppers arc water into the pool—movement, sound, life. Steps are crisp, geometry is balanced, and the water reflects clarity instead of neglect. Around it, the yard found purpose. Artificial turf introduced contrast—green, controlled, low-maintenance. A pergola structure rose in the corner, creating a destination within the destination. Beneath it, a built-in outdoor kitchen turned the backyard into a place to gather, not just pass through. Lighting stitched everything together, making the space just as alive at dusk as it is under the midday sun. By the end, nothing felt accidental. What was once forgotten is now deliberate. What was once avoided is now the center of attention. Fifteen years later, the backyard didn’t just come back—it finally became what it was always supposed to be.

Inspiration for an industrial home design remodel in Philadelphia

A full interior renovation of a ranch home in Parker's Black Bear Golf Club, including a complete finish of the previously unfinished basement level. On the main level, the kitchen was reworked around a large waterfall-edge quartz island and a dimensional three-dimensional stone backsplash that catches light differently through the day. The great room was rebuilt as the anchor of the floor plan: a full-height tiled fireplace surround flanked by walnut floating shelves and painted base cabinetry, with a linear firebox set beneath a solid walnut mantel. New wide-plank flooring runs continuously across the entire main level, tying the dining room, kitchen, great room, and entry into one uninterrupted plane. Smaller rooms got the same attention as the large ones. The powder bath pairs a walnut vanity with a quartz deck and matte black fittings. The laundry was rebuilt with full quartz counters, a stainless undermount sink, and a run of upper cabinetry — a working room, not an afterthought. Downstairs, roughly 2,217 square feet of unfinished basement became a full secondary living level: an open recreation area with its own linear fireplace, a wet bar with beverage refrigeration and a stacked tile feature wall, a guest suite with a second fireplace wall, and a full bath. The work included framing, mechanical and electrical distribution, egress compliance, and finish carpentry, permitted and inspected through Town of Parker. Two levels, one continuous finish schedule, one crew.

An expansive great room opens directly to outdoor living through black-framed Pella sliding doors, blurring the line between inside and backyard. A full wall of windows floods the space with natural light, while wide-plank white oak flooring flows beneath a bold black and brass statement ceiling fan. The open layout connects seamlessly to the gourmet kitchen with gray cabinetry, a dark contrasting island, and black pendant lighting.
