Amazing views of the Hudson River were the focus of our 2011 renovation of this three-bedroom condo for a popular TV personality. A large-screen TV is tucked behind closed doors in the living room to accommodate the client’s desire to host viewing parties for televised sporting events. Renovating and decorating this space was quick and effortless, as we’d worked with the client on three other projects over the previous 10 years.

Our clients had 2 sets of antique china that they wanted to display and were concerned that it would feel too old-fashioned. We did not agree. We added grasscloth wallcovering to the back of the cabinet and wall for texture and warmth. Host chairs with a stripe fabric layered well into the room, along with floral arrangements and colorful artwork.

Luxury is found in the details of this pool-side lounge area. Our Explore+Design+Build process focused on creating a resort-style aesthetic, featuring premium wicker chaises and vibrant blue umbrellas anchored directly into the stone hardscape. The placement allows for a direct view of the tiered water wall and fire features, ensuring every seat is the best in the house. This level of curation ensures the outdoor living space is as functional for a quiet afternoon as it is for hosting a large-scale summer gathering.

This is a view of this gorgeous floating staircase. Its minimal structure and refined materials consisting of wood and glass help natural light flow through the space, with glass railings keeping the space airy and open. This view also shows off the glass retracting doors, opening this communal hosting space to the outdoors, tying it to a beautiful refurbished backyard porch.
