Harmonized with the refined architectural lines of Çeşme, this villa project is completed with the aesthetic and technical excellence of Serapool. The Piazza Cyan Series delivers a sophisticated depth to the pool surface through its gradient transitions from turquoise to deep blue. Surrounding the pool, Beige Stone porcelain terrace anti-slip tiles introduce a serene ambiance with their warm beige hues. All surfaces feature a water absorption rate below 0.5%, ensuring long-lasting durability. They exhibit high resistance to UV rays, chemicals, and thermal shocks. With a PTV ≥ 45° slip resistance rating, the outdoor flooring ensures maximum safety. Piazza Cyan outer trim and Beige Stone outer trim details preserve aesthetic continuity in curved areas. More than a swimming area, the project offers a comprehensive luxury experience where elegance, safety, and comfort coexist seamlessly through artfully designed surfaces.

Rodwin Architecture & Skycastle Homes
Location: Boulder, CO USA
Our clients asked us to breathe new life into a dark and chopped up 1990’s home, that had a solid shell but a dysfunctional floor plan and dated finishes. We took down all the walls and created an open concept, sunny plan where all the public social spaces connected. We added a Dutch front door and created both a foyer and proper mud-room for the first time, so guests now had a sense of arrival and a place to hang their jackets. The odd dated kitchen that was the heart of the home was rebuilt from scratch with a simple white and blue palette. We opened up the south wall of the main floor with large windows and doors to help BBQ’s and parties flow from inside to the patio. The sagging and faded wrap-around porch was rebuilt from scratch. We re-arranged the interior spaces to create a dream kid’s playroom packed with organized storage and just far enough away from the grown-ups so that everyone can co-exist peacefully. We redid the finishes & fixtures throughout, and opened up the staircase to be an elegant path through this 4 storey house.

Resort-Style Backyard Oasis: Modern Farmhouse Meets Five-Star Outdoor Living
This extraordinary backyard transformation turns a sprawling wooded property into a private resort that rivals the finest luxury hotels — a complete outdoor living destination where every detail has been considered and every zone invites you to slow down, gather, and stay a while.
The centerpiece is a breathtaking freeform pool of impressive scale, its organic, curvilinear shape designed to feel as though it was carved naturally from the landscape rather than constructed within it. The pool's deep, jewel-toned water — achieved through a rich dark mosaic tile waterline and a dark plaster finish — creates an almost lagoon-like quality that shifts from teal to deep blue depending on the light and angle. In-pool sun shelf loungers sit at the water's edge, allowing guests to lounge half-submerged on warm days, while a separate built-in spa nestled at one end completes the aquatic experience.
The pool's surround is equally impressive. A generous travertine patio wraps the full perimeter of the pool in warm cream and honey tones, providing abundant space for multiple entertainment zones to coexist without ever feeling crowded. A sweeping row of premium chaise lounges with crisp white cushions lines one side of the pool, shaded by a series of elegant teak-framed market umbrellas that bring a Riviera-resort sensibility to the suburban backyard.
The stone hardscape tells a particularly rich material story. Dry-stacked natural stone retaining walls curve generously around the lower elevation of the pool, their warm amber, rust, and gray tones echoing the travertine patio above and connecting the pool structure organically to the sloped terrain. Stone steps with flagstone treads descend gracefully between levels, and large natural boulders are thoughtfully placed throughout the landscaping — giving the entire environment the feeling of a discovered natural water feature rather than a constructed pool.
A dedicated outdoor living room sits on the patio, anchored by a woven-rope lounge chair and a coordinating sofa with generous cream cushions, gathered around a sculptural concrete pedestal side table. The furniture selection — organic, tactile, and resort-caliber — creates a seating area that feels as comfortable and considered as any indoor living room, with the forest canopy serving as a natural ceiling above.
Around the corner, a separate fire pit terrace provides a second distinct outdoor destination. A massive circular stone fire pit — built from the same dry-stacked natural stone as the retaining walls — sits at the center of a gathering space ringed by weathered teak Adirondack-style chairs with white cushions. This zone feels intentionally removed from the pool's energy, offering a quieter, more intimate space for evening gatherings and cooler nights.
The house itself — a stunning modern farmhouse with white board-and-batten siding, exposed timber gable trusses, black-framed windows, and a covered back porch with timber posts — anchors the entire composition. The architecture and the landscape speak the same language: natural materials, clean lines, and an effortless relationship between indoor and outdoor living. A separate carriage house or garage structure in matching architectural style rounds out the property's exterior.

This architectural design embodies a serene fusion of modern minimalism and organic warmth. Clean lines, an open layout, and a harmonious blend of natural materials define the space. Large panes of glass invite natural light to flood the interior while offering seamless indoor-outdoor transitions. Neutral tones, wood finishes, and simple, purposeful forms emphasize a clutter-free environment that prioritizes calm and functionality. Perfectly suited for those who value understated elegance and intentional living, this home is a sanctuary where design and nature coexist gracefully.

Step into a space where sophistication meets everyday comfort featured in Sophisticated Living: Elevated Kitchen & Great Room Remodel in Westfield. This Signature Service project, designed and brought to life by the expert team at Everything Home Designs, redefines open-concept living with timeless finishes, custom cabinetry, and a seamless flow between kitchen and great room. Every detail was curated to elevate the way you live, gather, and unwind—proof that luxury and livability can coexist beautifully.

The challenge for this project was to create contemporary cabinetry that coexisted harmoniously with the traditional elements (like the wooden beams and arches). The team at MandiCasa New York, led by senior design consultant, Lorena Polon achieved this by using MandiCasa Yota cabinetry in Ardesia micalized lacquer and Terra knotted oak wood. Paired with wooden stools at the rectangular table, the design seamlessly melded the past and present, evoking a cozy and inviting atmosphere.

At Native Edge Landscape, we believe that outdoor spaces are canvases for artistic expression and harmonious design. In one of our recent projects, we had the opportunity to create a breathtaking pergola that seamlessly blended with the surrounding environment while showcasing the unique artful taste of our clients. Join us as we explore the captivating details of this design and the meticulous craftsmanship that went into creating a truly remarkable outdoor space.
The Pergola: A Perfect Fusion of Steel and Cedar
The focal point of this project is undoubtedly the large pergola, which we carefully constructed from steel C-channel and rough cedar purlins. The combination of these materials resulted in a striking aesthetic that effortlessly marries strength and natural beauty. The warm tones of each play off one another and come alive in the sunlight, while the alternating basketweave layout of the slats offer even more visual interest as well as variation in the provided shade. The design concept was carefully planned to ensure the purlins fit snugly into the channel, cleverly concealing any visible fasteners. This attention to detail adds to the sleek and streamlined appearance of the pergola, elevating its visual appeal and rustic elegance.
Working in Harmony with Nature
One of the most remarkable aspects of this project is how the pergola and the clam shell-colored Trex deck were thoughtfully designed to complement and highlight the existing large red oak tree. Rather than overshadowing or competing with its natural beauty, the design gracefully worked around the tree, creating a harmonious coexistence between human craftsmanship and nature's elegance.
Mid-Century Modern Charm with an Artful Twist
While the overall design of the space exudes mid-century modern aesthetics, what truly makes this project stand out is the clients' unique and artful taste. Their personal touch can be seen in the selection of decor, furniture, and subtle embellishments that add character and personality to the space. The result is a stunning blend of timeless design principles and the clients' individual artistic expression, creating a truly one-of-a-kind outdoor sanctuary.
Craftsmanship that Inspires
Every element of this project, from the pergola's construction to the careful integration of existing natural features, is a testament to the exceptional craftsmanship of the Native Edge Landscape team. With an unwavering commitment to excellence, our designers and craftsmen brought the clients' vision to life, transforming their outdoor space into a work of art.

Originally a home with contemporary bones, this beautiful home now combines Old world elements and traditional detailing with fresh and modern twists. Old and new elements coexist in harmony throughout. Upon entrance, a large marble herringbone rug inset into rich wood floors stands ready to welcome and greet. Dual tone marble insets continue down the hallway in uniform repetition drawing the eye to the custom butler’s pantry at the end of the hall. The mini crystal chandeliers repeating down the hallway harmoniously mimic the flooring, further emphasizing its beauty.

In the master bathroom, his and her sink vanities were nestled in opposite corners, separated by a large charcoal garden tub and small shower stall. Removing the large, corner garden tub we relocated his sink vanity beside hers along the main wall. Because two existing corner windows now occupied the space above his new sink vanity, the clients feared he would have to forego a mirror, because we didn't want to sacrifice any natural light. A custom, swivel mirror mounted inside the window casing was our solution, allowing both the mirror and window to coexist while also providing maneuverability when routine cleaning of the window was required.
