High-Tech Design - Switchable Privacy Bathroom Divider eGlass will provide a contemporary edge to any guestroom. In this installation, electronically switchable LC Privacy Glass was used as a room divider between the bedroom and bathroom. LC Privacy Glass offers your guests the perfect balance of space where openness & privacy can co-exist. Incorporating LC Privacy Glass as a wall of the shower is a high-tech design that most people have never heard of, but giving them the ability to control the state of the glass is something that people will have to see to believe. Usually hotel guests will flip the switch back a forth a few times just for the novelty - they love to see the glass fog up. With the touch of a button, LC Privacy Glass allows you to decide when the glass is clear; with full view from room to room, or transparent; when you want to maintain a higher level of privacy between the two rooms. Even in the private state, diffused light is still able to pass, allowing for a bright bathroom. Opting for a glass wall as a divider will make the room appear larger, brighter & more inviting.

When our long-time clients, decidedly urban dwellers, de-camped from the city to the suburbs in 2019, we helped them remake their “too-traditional” new house into a home that better fit their style. A recently-completed house by a developer, we set-out from day one to sprinkle their preferred contemporary, more-urban-than-suburban style throughout the spaces. All without major architectural changes. We changed all the decorative lighting and doors throughout the home to allow the architecture to better align with their style. The home is now layered with clean-lines, modern fabrics, vibrant colors, and contemporary art. The result is the perfect coexistence of contemporary and traditional – without letting either feel out of place.

This adorable kitchen in Point Loma, CA is now open to the family room, small in spaces but united with a nature-inspired color palette. The kitchen went through an extensive remodel removing walls, raised ceiling, exposing the beam and a new glass door for the back entry and now this small kitchen feel open and spacious. The cabinetry features shaker elements―clean lines, plain trim, and little ornamentation― great for transitional decor. Functional fixtures and modern appliances peacefully coexist with the mosaic marble backsplash. Hidden behind the door panels is a 30” Subzero refrigerator/freezer integrated nicely to keep the kitchen plan, clean and understated. The corner sink is recessed back adding a nice detail but even more importantly a more accessible corner access to the kitchen windows. Accessories and details added to the kitchen cabinets give this chef everything she was looking for with a spice pullout, knife block pullout and rollouts to top off the new cabinets. When space is tight it is a great option for a small family to open up the walls and add a counter where the family can dine. On the walls, neutral gray painted create a soothing atmosphere. Adjacent to the kitchen was a cramped room that functioned as a workout room and laundry room. By changing some wall space, closing in a door and removing a closet the new space has great storage and is more open and functional for a quick workout. In the family room the fireplace was re-tiled with a concrete looking porcelain tile topped off with a rustic beam mantle. Combined with new home furnishings to make the most of a small space this new family room is both functional and a great place for the couple to spend time with each other on a daily basis and to entertain guest and a new space has been created with the feel of a comfortable cozy space for all to enjoy. modern mountain home captures the essence of rustic-meets-industrial in a minimal yet impactful way. Starting with a color palette inspired by our client’s love of white, gray and black, we created a home that is cool and hip for entertaining and family lake-side living. Industrial elements and rustic details coexist side by side, such as the striking black metal fireplace facing off against a custom oversized sectional and an antler chandelier in the central great room, while sheepskin throws casually top sleek mid-century-inspired dining chairs. Every room has a “wow” factor element, and the playful interiors are filled with graphic accents that express the family’s personality and history: a pantry door adapted from a shipping container lists family birth dates in place of the usual ports of call, a sliding door calls out the site’s original greenhouse, and IPhone photos are transformed into very personal bedroom murals. This is a mountain home, so durable outdoor fabrics abound, and a “snack shack” made from a glass garage door opens up to reveal an indoor/outdoor bar.

Amber’s homes are meant to be lived in. While the look may be reminiscent of an older time, the feel is relaxed, cozy and convenient. We believe elegance can coexist with comfort and can adapt the neoclassical look to meet modern-day demands. All mechanicals are modern and state-of-the-art but are incorporated into the esthetic without overcoming it. As with our exteriors, we try to use as much vintage material as possible and call upon our extensive network of vendors to unearth distinctive pieces: plumbing fixtures, lighting fixtures, fireplaces, old beams dredged from bogs, housing hardware. When actual period pieces are not available, we contract with peerless craftsmen who can fashion superb facsimiles. Our work is distinguished by attention to detail.

Above, the second-story loft embraces the room with its rich black and brown wood trim, framing the space with a subtle sophistication that enhances the home's natural allure while offering visual depth and architectural intrigue. It is a space meticulously crafted to celebrate the art of living gracefully, where the sliding doors provide the thoughtful option to shift the atmosphere toward quiet privacy without sacrificing the relaxed feeling of a large, open space.

It is a distribution designed for the possible coexistence of two people who maintain a spatial freedom, giving this reason for the planning of two bedrooms completely separated by a walkway. Both bedrooms have beds of 140cm x 200cm, wardrobes, desk and independent windows. ​ As we mentioned, the bedrooms are separated by a walkway that has been conditioned as a reading space, it should also be noted that from that point we have a visual control of the space. ​ On the ground floor, we can see that the dead space of the stairs has been used as a kitchen where we have the burners, the oven and the odor extractor. We also have the rest of the public spaces such as the living room, the dining room, the toilet and the laundry room. ​ Some of the furniture presented in this flat renovation are products of Hbellorin thus giving a touch of exclusivity to the apartment.
