Composed of stunning faceted crystals that refract light both inward and outward in Muses collection. Inspired by 1960s Paris chandeliers, it pairs ultra-clear K5 crystal glass with a solid Iron with a plating brass frame.

An inherited Chinese Chippendale china cabinet with lovely fretwork detailing that has been updated with a coat of fresh royal blue paint and a white lacquer interior, takes its place against the light gray walls of this traditional dining room. The cabinet is used to display midnight blue and white porcelain jars along with the homeowner’s collection of Mottahedeh china. The classic elegance of this space is carried up to the light grey ceiling, which is adorned with a hand-painted design in two-toned metallic gold. This gold accent is repeated in the crown jewel of the room - a chandelier composed of clear glass orbs dangling from a gold frame.

This new four-bedroom house with three and one-half baths and an attached two-car garage was designed to take advantage of a long, narrow, buildable area on a Cape Cod lot bordering wetlands.
It’s composed of clean-lined, simple, shingled forms with gable and shed roofs. Natural light travels deep within the shared living spaces thanks to an open family/dining/kitchen area with ample windows (including facing clerestory windows) and a building width of twenty-two feet. A rear screen porch and decks, which run the length of the house, overlook wetlands. Outdoor showers are located at both ends of the home. The second floor master suite includes a library and roof deck with a distant water view.

A site unlike any other presented an opportunity for a modern take on a traditionally inspired Southern Gem. Each room provides stunning views through luminous floor to ceiling windows while expansive glass doors provide access to the Home’s variety of outdoor living spaces. Reclaimed from an old church, the antique brick coupled with old pine beams create a timeless canvas while open living and fresh architectural details compose the perfect environment for family and friends.

N44° 56' 06" is a minimal and modern home centered around views and access to Bde Maka Ska (former Lake Calhoun). Carved into the lot, a tuck under garage provides storage for vehicles and lake toys while preserving the front of the home for an elevated porch with lake views. A rear patio and rooftop deck offer entertainment space with scenes of the Minneapolis skyline and the lake as a backdrop.
Custom metal louvers accent the front and rear of the home acting as window privacy buffers and a staircase to the roof deck. The forms and materials remain modest to let the crisp lines compose balance between the modern structure and the exterior accents.

Nestled in the foothills of the Georgia Blue Ridge Mountains and nurtured by the Chattahoochee and Chestatee Rivers, Lake Sidney Lanier is named for the poet Sidney Clopton Lanier, whose admiration of the area's scenic beauty inspired him to compose his famous "Song of the Chattahoochee".
Lake Lanier is one of America's favorite lakes. With several million visitors annually enjoying its recreational facilities, it has been the most visited Corp of Engineers project in the nation.
One reason for the lake's popularity is its proximity to metropolitan Atlanta, Georgia. A well-developed road network surrounds Lake Lanier, with several highways crossing the main body. Visitors can enjoy the city of Atlanta and, in the space of a short drive, can lose themselves in the tranquility at Lake Lanier.
Lake Lanier, impounded by Buford Dam, encompasses 38,000 surface acres of water with 540 miles of shorelines. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has developed and operates numerous public parks around the lake for camping and day-use activities.
Lake Lanier Islands, a development by the State of Georgia and the Corps of Engineers, is the major resort area on the lake. The Islands complex provides picnicking, camping, beach areas, a water theme park, tennis courts, golf courses, rental boats, and hotel accommodations. Numerous other recreation areas operated by county and city agencies also offer recreational opportunities around the lake.
Lake Lanier was host to the 1996 Centennial Olympic Rowing and Sprint/Canoe/Kayak Events, as well as the 1996 Paralympic Yachting events. These honors have helped make Lanier a world class lake.

Home away from home is where we often meet our clients, especially in Bend. They crave a welcoming and approachable, yet luxurious and well curated vacation home. This custom home in Central Oregon’s Caldera Springs neighborhood was no exception. An investment property the owners and their family will use occasionally, the home had to speak to their overall aesthetic, while graciously accommodating rental guests throughout the year. Design for each space was a collaboration with our clients, who selected “inspiration” fabrics and artwork that tell a story and bring warmth and personality to the home. We designed hard-wearing custom furniture, composed layers of luxe bedding, placed photography by local artist and photographer Chris Murray, and added comfortable and low maintenance furniture outside, where everyone wants to be year-round in Bend. Working with the property manager, we checked every item off a comprehensive list to outfit the chef’s kitchen and ensure guests would have all the comforts of home. This home is available for short-term vacation rental through Bennington Properties in Sunriver, OR.

The original design of this late Mid-century Modern house featured a horrifically ugly entry which the owners needed our help to fix. In addition, they wanted to add a master suite, create a home theatre, and remodel the family room. Although they originally considered adding a second floor, our final design resulted in an extension of the house which accentuated its existing linear quality. Our solution to the entry problem included cutting back part of the vaulted roof to allow more light in and adding a cantilevered canopy instead. A new entry bridge crosses a koi pond, and new clerestory windows, stone planters and cedar trim complete the makeover of the previously bland plywood-clad box. The new master suite features 12 foot ceilings, clerestory windows, 8 foot high French doors and a fireplace. The exterior of the addition employs the same pallet of materials as the new façade but with a carefully composed composition of form and proportion. The new family room features the same stone cladding as we used on the exterior.

This beverage center is located adjacent to the kitchen and joint living area composed of greys, whites and blue accents. Our main focus was to create a space that would grab people’s attention, and be a feature of the kitchen. The cabinet color is a rich blue (amalfi) that creates a moody, elegant, and sleek atmosphere for the perfect cocktail hour.
This client is one who is not afraid to add sparkle, use fun patterns, and design with bold colors. For that added fun design we utilized glass Vihara tile in a iridescent finish along the back wall and behind the floating shelves. The cabinets with glass doors also have a wood mullion for an added accent. This gave our client a space to feature his beautiful collection of specialty glassware. The quilted hardware in a polished chrome finish adds that extra sparkle element to the design. This design maximizes storage space with a lazy susan in the corner, and pull-out cabinet organizers for beverages, spirits, and utensils.

The Karoistanbul tiles are entirely handmade and natural. They are composed of white marble powder, high quality cement, marble or granite granulates natural colorants and pure silica sand, under a high pressure. Users have the opportunity to choose the color of the tiles from the color range.

Moss Garden: A Living Carpet of Tranquility
A moss garden is a serene, low-maintenance landscape feature that evokes a profound sense of calm and natural beauty. Composed of vibrant, velvety mosses that thrive in shaded, humid environments, these gardens offer a soft, carpet-like groundcover that replaces traditional lawns or gravel with rich, green texture.
At Westland Design, our moss gardens are thoughtfully integrated into the overall landscape to enhance a feeling of timelessness and stillness. Whether nestled beneath the canopy of trees, edging a stone pathway, or surrounding a tranquil water feature, moss brings subtle movement and color to quiet corners of the garden.
Key qualities of a moss garden include:
Evergreen softness: Moss provides lush, year-round greenery that requires no mowing or fertilizing.
Quiet beauty: It absorbs sound, contributing to a peaceful, contemplative environment.
Natural elegance: Ideal for Japanese-style gardens or woodland settings, moss complements stone, water, and wood elements with organic harmony.
A moss garden is more than a design choice—it’s an invitation to slow down, observe closely, and appreciate nature’s quiet elegance.

Stand out from the pack with this innovative 3D polished silver glass selection that is the ideal choice for a bold backsplash or avant-garde feature wall installation. Each sheet is composed of polished glass with a foil backing. Bring a new-wave look of luxury into your loft, lobby or lavish space with this ultra-modern tile.

A neutral office composes this wonderful office design. Blacks, whites and beige set the tone for a light, bright, and airy home office perfect for those who work for home or those who just need space to study. A custom built in serves the purpose for both function with an abundance of storage on top and below but also is aesthetically pleasing. Inspirational quotes line the walls and fill in the built in for added decor. A pop of green and the area rug from Urban Outfitters gives this space the modern bohemian vibe.

For the Bridle Path Residence – Her Closet, I’d position the design around luxury, symmetry, tailored detailing, and boutique-like organization, rather than simply describing the cabinetry.
Houzz Design Description:
A refined dressing retreat designed to bring the experience of a private luxury boutique into the home. The custom millwork creates a highly organized and visually composed wardrobe environment, with full-height cabinetry, integrated drawers, open display shelving, and decorative mirrored doors that add depth and light while elevating the room’s sense of scale. The geometric mirror detailing introduces a sophisticated architectural layer, balancing the crisp white palette with the warmth of the hardwood flooring.
Every element is designed around both function and presentation: dedicated display zones allow handbags, footwear, accessories, and curated pieces to become part of the room’s aesthetic, while concealed storage keeps the overall composition clean and serene. The repetition of cabinetry and mirrorwork establishes symmetry and rhythm, giving the space a polished, bespoke character. Bright integrated lighting enhances visibility and transforms the closet into an elegant dressing experience rather than a purely utilitarian storage area.
The result is a timeless, highly personalized dressing space where custom craftsmanship, visual order, and understated glamour come together, an extension of the sophisticated design language carried throughout the Bridle Path Residence.

This is a total renovation of an existing building. The walls are composed of inset cherry trim with drywall panels opposed to plaster. This reduced the cost and added the original look of the building. Built-in bookcases are made of natural cherry and the floors are random width pine.

This large Florida style ranch with a walk-out basement is composed almost entirely of octagonal-shaped rooms based on a request by the owners. The exterior features a combination of stucco and stone with Palladian windows looking out on the 10 acre lot. A large covered stone pool deck and outdoor kitchen surround the invisible edge pool.
