This is a complete Manomin interior from floor to ceiling. Weathered Antique Timber roof trusses, rafters, and a ridge beam in warm honey and golden amber tones span the vaulted ceiling, while matching reclaimed wood paneling covers every wall and ceiling surface, creating a cohesive and immersive space that feels anything but ordinary for a garage.
The warm, consistent honey and caramel palette throughout shows how thoughtfully matched reclaimed wood products can transform a garage, outbuilding, or barndominium style interior into a high character space. At Manomin Resawn Timbers, every piece goes through a detailed process of denailing, kiln drying, and precision milling so that antique character is preserved while performing beautifully in any application.
Whether you are a homebuilder, a home remodeling contractor, or a homeowner looking to finish a garage, outbuilding, or recreational space with a complete reclaimed wood interior, Manomin Resawn Timbers has been helping people discover the antique charm of reclaimed wood since 2002. We serve homebuilders, contractors, and designers across the country. Visit our showroom in Hugo, MN or reach out to us with a call or a message to get started.

This elegant patio area replaced a grassy area between the deck and the out building that was a worn path in the grass. The custom-designed and built pergola is true 2x rough-sawn cedar. The support posts are anchored by pillars on all four corners with wings off the front for seating and to give a courtyard effect. Across the rear is an elevated planter that will have a waterfall fountain.

The 7,600 square-foot residence was designed for large, memorable gatherings of family and friends at the lake, as well as creating private spaces for smaller family gatherings. Keeping in dialogue with the surrounding site, a palette of natural materials and finishes was selected to provide a classic backdrop for all activities, bringing importance to the adjoining environment.
In optimizing the views of the lake and developing a strategy to maximize natural ventilation, an ideal, open-concept living scheme was implemented. The kitchen, dining room, living room and screened porch are connected, allowing for the large family gatherings to take place inside, should the weather not cooperate. Two main level master suites remain private from the rest of the program; yet provide a complete sense of incorporation. Bringing the natural finishes to the interior of the residence, provided the opportunity for unique focal points that complement the stunning stone fireplace and timber trusses.

This Asian inspired open plan kitchen brings the outdoors in by incorporating multiple layers of colors, textures and surfaces into the design. Alison Griffin created this look with three cabinetry colors (slivered almond opaque finish, cherry dark lager finish and foundry medium greyed taupe finish), three surface textures (smooth, rough sawn and rough hewn) and three countertop materials (Peruvian Walnut end grain butcher block, Taj Mahal Quartzite, and Nacarado Quartzite). For all of the complexity of this design, its overall effect is a calm and engaging contemporary kitchen.
