This creative transitional space was transformed from a very dated layout that did not function well for our homeowners - who enjoy cooking for both their family and friends. They found themselves cooking on a 30" by 36" tiny island in an area that had much more potential. A completely new floor plan was in order. An unnecessary hallway was removed to create additional space and a new traffic pattern. New doorways were created for access from the garage and to the laundry. Just a couple of highlights in this all Thermador appliance professional kitchen are the 10 ft island with two dishwashers (also note the heated tile area on the functional side of the island), double floor to ceiling pull-out pantries flanking the refrigerator, stylish soffited area at the range complete with burnished steel, niches and shelving for storage. So excited to share this photo of custom cocktail table from Charleston Forge. Our client wanted extra seating that she could tuck away when not needed. We designed this beautiful iron and glass table with very specific measurements. It stores 4 leather ottomans underneath. We added nail trim to the ottomans to show off their hourglass figures. A small 8 x 10 bedroom is transformed to efficiently accommodate a sleep sanctuary and two full-time work spaces for a couple sharing one cozy small space. A full size iron bed from IKEA is flanked by a small computer desk (workspace #1) and a floating wall shelf offering extra storage space. The small closet was transformed into workspace #2. Featuring custom board and batten wall treatment, accessorized with vintage style photographs and various unique antique treasures.

Decorative elements are cast directly onto the iron framework in the traditional manner. The details are from our exclusive archive of hand carved wooden patterns. Sand molds are made in position on the framework, then molten metal is poured into the molds, giving it an unsurpassed strength and authentic charm. The crest rail and decorative turnings are pure, solid brass, and an excellent contrasting element to the iron. Available in wrought iron, antique white or vintage white with antique brass accents. Uses a standard twin mattress and includes upholstered platform for proper mattress support. Optional pop-up trundle stores a mattress underneath.
