modern farmhouse entertainment center we built to be used in a living room with a television, leaving space for movie storage and game consoles. Can also be used in a kitchen as a stand alone island with storage for cookbooks, plates and serving utensils. Top is made from reclaimed and salvaged barnwood, cut up in our shop and arranged into geometric patterns in our famous "Scissor-tail" style. Any cracks in the old barn wood we fill with epoxy and seal with a topcoat so you don't have to worry about crumbs getting into cracks and crevices. This piece is on casters and is super easy to move around from place to place.

This dining room design in Raleigh, NC proves that traditional style is anything but dated. Our team at Lavish transformed the formal dining room with a showstopping detail overhead: a chinoiserie botanical wallpaper applied to the tray ceiling, framed by layered crown molding and soft blue walls with classic wainscoting. The clients' mahogany Chippendale dining set and antique sideboard were honored rather than replaced — refreshed with Greek key upholstered seats, a gilded leaf chandelier, black-shaded buffet lamps, an equestrian oil painting, and a collected arrangement of majolica and porcelain plates on the walls. Wide view of the spa bath: a frameless glass walk-in shower with stone pebble flooring sits at left, a wall-hung toilet with a concealed flush-plate fills a tiled alcove, and a frosted glass door sits between. A tray ceiling and bubble pendant crown the large-format tile floor in soft natural light. Modern bathroom remodel in Edison, NJ by WA Construct.

An attention grabbing ivory Welsh cupboard holds antique blue and white plates, while various cookbooks and an array of other accessories fill the balance of the shelves. Turquoise blue glasses complement the resin centerpiece in the middle of the trestle table. Sitting atop the cupboard are a collection of celadon vases adding textural interest.

Powder room shower bathroom. Fixed glass starphire shower door, Tiled niche with glass shelves, curb less shower with center floor drain, rain head shower. Since there are 2 on suite bathrooms the owners wanted to have a place for their guest to shower and this powder room really fills that needs. The glass panel keeps spraying water from the sink area. A steel plate above the sheetrock ceiling helps hold in place a set of magnetic shower curtain rings. This keep the toilet area from getting soaked. We built a new cabinet over the refrigerator and filled in the open space over the wall cabinets. After adding the crown molding you'd never know the cabinetry had been disassembled. Photo A Cut Above, Inc.

This is a kitchen crafted by Handmade Furniture of West Creek, NJ in a two-toned motif. The coffered ceilings add dimension as the indirect lighting and high hats provide interest and beauty as well as function. This traditional kitchen is filled with chef quality appliances, subtlely masked by the custom paneled fronts. It is pleasing to the eye with hardly a plate or glass in sight.
