Mid-sized danish front porch idea in Minneapolis with decking and a roof extension

Pro-Land designed and constructed this double entrance driveway creating a grand statement and some major curb appeal for this home. A large heated concrete driveway has plenty of room for cars to park. Gardens full of green and white perennials and shrubs are a classic look throughout every season. Natural stone pillars and walls flank each side of the driveway allowing the entrances to be closed by iron gates when the client wants. Lastly, natural stone walls, on either side of the front porch tie everything together and add some extra character to the house.

This custom charging station and communication desk was Knick-named, Grand Central Station. The cork back allows for notes to family members, lists and also charging, the cords are run into the space below through ‘mouse holes’. The desk is stand-up height and has a couple drawers for pens, paper, etc. the floor was left open for dog food bowls, tucked safely out of traffic. We also waterfalled the countertop down the side to reflect the same on the island, and provide cover for the dog bowls.
The top shelf was ideal for housing children’s art work and a portion of her collected and favorite finds.

This modern lake house is located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The residence overlooks a mountain lake with expansive mountain views beyond. The design ties the home to its surroundings and enhances the ability to experience both home and nature together. The entry level serves as the primary living space and is situated into three groupings; the Great Room, the Guest Suite and the Master Suite. A glass connector links the Master Suite, providing privacy and the opportunity for terrace and garden areas.

The design objective for this six acre ocean view parcel in Montecito was to create a literal replication of an 1800's California hacienda. Four adobe structures define the central courtyard while secondary terraces and walled gardens expand the living areas towards the views and morning light. Simple, rustic details and traditional, handmade materials evoke a lifestyle of a distant era.
